'What to do, what to do? This is all your fault you old man. Ah! I know what I shall do, no matter the cost this kingdom of Ireland belongs to me and me alone!' Says the queen to herself.
Having Hayley taken away from her, not sure whether she could trust Gerald anymore and no soldiers nor royal staff to cater for her needs, not to mention the constant taunting of 'Olivia's ghost', she was in no doubt losing her wits.
Meanwhile...
"Okay, so generals, assemble, I am going to outline the plan. All others stand by. Even though we are going up against a defensless imbecile we would not want to be attacked by enemies." Says Olivia
Gerald as well as the other soldiers take to their posts outside the camp just a little to the south of the palace. This was indeed a day that would be remembered by many in word and in deed.
"Therefore, I would like to take the middle guard with me through the gates. The rest of you head out to your stations and prepare to attack." She says.
"Yes majesty!" They say letting out a battle cry as they start moving towards their enemy with Olivia in the front lines alongside the generals.
Finally, the day that she had waited so long for was within reach. She could see it, feel it and she was not ready to let go of it.
"Majesty! We have enemies approaching from the west, what should we do?" Asks one of the generals.
"That is not our quater to deal with. Onwards men!" Says Olivia with strong conviction. The generals look at each other then nod an okay as they ride on.
They had prepared enough and had enough men to make sure that the battle would be won.
As they near the palace, they see soldiers advancing towards them. Enemy soldiers? Ally soldiers? There was no time to guess who it was, whoever got in the way would be eliminated immediately.
The one deep within the castle walls was their biggest enemy. The one they had come to do away with.
They fight onwards with Olivia refusing to retreat and let the soldiers fight by themselves. 'This is my fight as well. All of you just happened to lend me your strength.' She would say over ad over as they kept fighting on.
