I was still smiling at my phone when I shut it off.
"Who was that?" Alexa says walking into the room, leaning against the closet, "Kalvin I suppose?"

"No it was Chris, actually." I stand up awkwardly, making my way towards the bathroom.

"Cassidy, if you want to move on you have to talk to him." Alexa sighed

"I know, but Chris is so great and nice. Plus we aren't even a thing. We're just going to dinner." I reply, crossing my arms.

"Better if you do it now than later." Alexa walks off and I pout as I walk to the bathroom.

It's about 7:30 and I'm waiting in my room for Chris to pick me up.

Just as I was texting him if he was here, I hear a light knock at the door. I get up and answer it.

"Hello Cassidy."
