I couldn't keep my eyes off of him the entire homeroom, as he occasionally looked at his phone and talked to other students. 'What are you thinking Alex,he's obviously not into you' i looked down and felt my phone buzz, it's from Lafayette

'Who's homeroom are you in?'

'Mr.Washington,why?'

'Ugh lucky, Hercules have Mr.Adams'

'Good luck' and as soon as i hit send the bell rang, i scrambled to get my stuff and walked out to the busy hallway,i looked at my schedule to see my first period class was also my worst class, biology with Mr.Seabury 'Just peachy' i rolled my eyes and walked down the hallway to his classroom, being there three minuets early gave me the advantage to sit wherever i want due to there only being two others in the room,i sat about halfway back of the room and watched the students that walked in the room, hoping he would.

"Okay class-" Mr.Seabury started but someone ran in "Sorry I'm late" a boy sat by me, it was him

i lightly smiled and kept my head down, not paying attention to anything the teacher said

i saw a paper slide on my desk,'Hello mute' John wrote, i smiled

'Hi John' i smiled and slid the note back

'Seriously, whats your name?'

'Alexander, or Alex'

'Well Alex, can i get your number?'

I immediately smiled and we exchanged numbers

'I just got a cute boys number'

'ahh shut up Alex, he's probably straight'

my smile changed as the class went on for the next hour we just talked small talk

we left class and i ran into Lafayette and hugged him

"What is it?" he laughed and i showed him the note

"Ooo, Alex has a boyfriend"

I glared at him playfully and John walked out

"Hey Alex" he smiled

"Ohh, he is cute" Lafayette winked and laughed

"Wh-what?" Johns' head tilted and i looked down, embarrassed

"My buddy Alex here thinks you're cute" i turned around and gave Lafayette a serious look

"Sorry, sorry" he laughed

great now I'm stuck here and i have nowhere to go because if i left it would just be weird

"Its okay" John laughed and touched my shoulder, i felt a shiver run up my spine when he did that

the bell rang and i quickly walked to my next class, my best class, my favorite class, advanced writing
