I decided to stay again that night at Johns, noticing how late it was getting in the first place, it is a Saturday, and i just enjoyed being around him

we decided to go to the store and get a bunch of junk food and snacks for the night, i was walking behind John

"Babe, ill be right back, stay right here" John turned to me and smiled

i nodded and watched him walk off and stood off to the side of the empty aisle, looking at the ground, trying to stay out of the way from the few people that came by

i kept look on the ground and i felt a figure approach me, figuring it was John i looked up to see a man that wasn't John

It was Thomas

I began to breath heavy and move away but he grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me off the ground

"I wasn't done with you" he darkly said, looking up and down my body

i closed my eyes, hoping John would be back

where are you, John?

Thomas smiled and put me back on the floor, grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the store

i kept looking around to see John, i couldn't, i looked back at the door and closed my eyes, knowing i had to accept what was going to happen

i suddenly felt Thomas's grip on me loosen and his walk stop entirely, i opened my eyes to see John standing there, in front of Thomas, i looked up at Thomas and back to John as he walked up to Thomas

"What the fuck man!?" John yelled, pushing Thomas on the ground

I jumped back, i had no clue what to do, my heart at a million miles per hour

i couldn't stand to see this any longer, noticing no workers seemed to care i pulled John off of Thomas and watched as Thomas wiped the blood from his lip, John pulled his arms around me quickly and grabbed Thomas's arm and pulling out his phone, calling the cops

"What did he do, are you okay?" John looked at me as the cop cars drove off, wiping a few tears from my eyes

i nodded and looked at the ground, feeling John wrap his arms around me

"Baby please don't cry" he sighed and kissed my forehead

i took in a deep breath and grabbed his hand, we walked out of the store

"I don't want to go to my house tonight, ill tell my mom we went to your place and we can drive around for a bit and get a hotel, i don't really want to face my mother, is that okay?" he looked down

i nodded and looked back to the ground as we walked up to his car, he opened the passenger door for me and i smiled, getting in the car, watching him get in

"I love you" he looked at me and kissed my forehead softly,i smiled and sat back in the seat,i looked at my phone and saw it was already one in the morning,i sat back and watched out the front-view window, looking at the streetlights and buildings we passed until we reached the hotel on the far end of town

i got out and watched as John walked to me, grabbing my hand

i walked with him and felt happy for once in my life, no stress, just his hand in mine, happy
