I let the hot water fall over my skin, my eyes closed, wanting to wash away of what happened earlier that night

I heard a soft knock on the bathroom door,"babe,you okay" John softly said, knowing there would be no response,i turned the water off and grabbed my towel,stepping out of the shower and wrapping the towel around my torso,trying to knock out the thought of Thomas from my brain

I stepped out of the bathroom and saw John sitting on the bed, i walked over and sat beside him, resting my head on his shoulder, his arm wrapped around my body and he laid down, i rested beside him and we met eye contact,he softly kissed me and pulled away "I'm sorry" he softly sighed and looked back up to my eyes " I'm sorry i didn't do anything about Thomas before"I saw his eyes began to tear up, i wiped a tear from under his eye and shook my head, pulling his body against mine, he pushed off of me and sat up

i sat up, realizing I'm still in my towel, i looked up slightly to see John looking at my torso and biting his lip, i smirked and snapped my fingers

"W-what?" he looked up quickly

i smiled and shook my head and laid back down, John laid on my stomach and closed his eyes and i looked down at him, watching his chest move as he easily breathed

i smiled and closed my eyes, feeling myself growing tired, but i couldn't fall asleep, i just listened to Johns soft breathing and the rain hit the window softly

John got up and laid his head on the pillow beside me,"Figured you would wanna change" he smiled,i nodded and got up,walking to the bathroom and grabbing my clothes,pulled them on,walking back and looking at John scrolling through his phone,i smiled and walked over to him, sitting on his hips and i grabbed his phone from him and put it on the bed

"What?" He chuckled and looked at me, i shrugged and laid down on him, he played with my wet hair and kissed the top of my head a few times

I felt my eyes close lightly and my body became heavy as i fell asleep on top of John
