Johns POV

"john laurens?" the doctors voice rang through the waiting room,i stood up

"y-yes?"

"alexander,hes ready to see you"

i took a deep breath and trembled my steps,walking behind the doctor

i walked into the room to see alex laying there,lifeless,my breath hitched and i walked over to him,grabbing his hand

"al-alex?" i whispered,he slowly turned his head to me,but quickly turned away

"alexander,what did i do?" i kept my voice at a whisper,i heard someone else walk in and i turned to see Laf standing there

"mon ami,Je suis désolé" he sighed,his accent thick,alex didn't seem to friendly to him either

"Alex,please" i begged,grabbing his hand tighter

he pointed at my phone in my pocket and i pulled it out,handing it to him

he unlocked it and clicked on messages and clicked the conversation between Laf and i

[john]:Love you toooo!

"alex,we were joking,messing around,being gay friends,its how it is,and you know Laf is with Herc" i sighed

alex locked my phone and threw his head back

alexs POV

i can trust him

i nodded and looked over at john,weakly placing my hand on his

he smiled softly and eased up

"im sorry alexander"

i shook my head and closed my eyes

flashbacks-

i looked down and felt a tear fall down my face then Johns hand lift my face up from my chin,he wiped the tear and sighed,pulling his seatbelt off and wrapped his arms around me,i halfed a smile and wrapped my arms around him,all of a sudden i heard a car horn and john yell

"alex!" he wrapped his body around me as i felt an impact and shards of glass fly everywhere

i felt my body go numb
i passed out

i shot up,breathing heavy

"alex? whats wrong?"

i shook my head and pushed myself away from john

"alexander?" i saw my mom standing there

"i love you" her hand touched mine,then she disappeared

my entire body was shaking,i was crying

i closed my eyes and shook my head

"alex?" i turned my head to the hospital door
