I woke up again, in John's bed, in John's arms

I looked at the alarm clock on his bedside table and it read 1:47 PM, i smiled and closed my eyes, feeling John move around a bit

i felt entirely sore, everywhere, i hear john hum "Alex?"

i turned and faced him, he smiled and kissed my nose

"Thank you" he whispered, his arms tightened around my body

chills arose on my body, leaving me cold in warm arms

he smiled and kissed my forehead, holding me tighter against his chest

"Alexander?" i heard her softly say, i looked up and met eye contact

"D-do you really love me?" He gave me a worried look, I saw sorrow in his eyes

I nodded quickly

What makes him think i don't?

"Okay" he gave a half smile and kissed the top of my head

I didn't bother to question him on it so I just closed my eyes, still wore out, still sore as ever

my heart raced as i felt his body leave mine

i sat up and looked at him, worried

"I'll be right back" he pulled his sweatpants on and walked out

i shrugged and pulled the blanket fully over my body and closed my eyes

i wondered where John had gone and grabbed my phone and texted him

'where did you go?'

i put my phone back on the nightstand and thought for a moment

'I need to get something, I won't be long'

I didn't respond and laid there, what was there to get worried about? I can trust John

Can I?
