alex's POV

we eventually arrived at John's house, my arm was throbbing with pain as i walked onto the porch behind him, my heart raced when i realized we had to face his mother again, he opened the door and i heard his mother humming in the kitchen "John? Is that you?" she peered around the corner, stirring something

"Hey ma" he smiled, closing the door after i walked in

"Sorry i never made it to the hospital," she frowned, "i got busy" she walked over to him and kissed his forehead,"Alex!," she smiled cheerfully,"how nice to see you again." she kissed my forehead also,i smiled and nodded, looking towards John,

"Alex, i have to talk to my mom for a moment, stay here?" John turned to face me

i nodded and watched him walk off with his mother, i looked down at my broken arm and sighed

johns POV

i pulled my mom into the living room, making sure Alex wouldn't be able to hear us

"what, what is it?" my mother laughed, i smiled and double checked that couldn't hear

"i got that apartment" i smiled, she jumped and hugged me tightly

"im so proud of you!" she whispered,

"but, alexanders mother passed away in her sleep," i sighed and looked down,"mom, i want him to stay with me" i looked back up to her smiling "that's up to you dear" she kissed my cheek and walked away,i smiled an walked shortly behind her,looking at Alex

"Alex, we're not staying here,"I paused for a moment "i got an apartment"I tilted my head and smiled, he gave me one of those shut up,i know you're lying looks,i smiled and hugged him "im not lying"I whispered into his ear, he smiled and hugged back, he squeezed my torso tightly and looked up at me

"let's go get packed" i smiled
