"I'll let you rummage through my house," I said when Ryan wouldn't let go of my legs.

"No you won't," Ryan answered then stood up.

"You're right," I grumbled then started walking down the stairs.

"Ha," Ryan said when I got to the bottom of the stairs and she was all of a sudden on my back.

"Thanks for the heads up," I said catching myself from falling.

"Your welcome," she giggled then wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Where am I bringing you?" I asked.

"Your house," she answered.

"All the way there?" I asked.

"Yes, grab my phone though," she said when I started walking to the door.

"Where is it?" I chuckled.

"It's on my bed," she mumbled. I walked over to her bed and let her pick up her phone then walked to her door with her still on my back.

I carried her down the stairs then huffed when we got to the front door. "I need to put my shoes on," I tired to look at her.

"Me too," she answered. I set her down then put my sneakers back on. She put on flip flops then turned the lights off in the kitchen.

I walked outside where she jumped back on my back with a laugh. "Proceed," she said when I chuckled.

I walked to my house slowly with Ryan on my back. "What's your mom like?" Ryan asked when we were half way there.

"She's relatively nice," I answered.

"Relatively?" she chuckled with a question in her voice.

"You'll see," I said walking up the driveway.

"What about your sister?" she asked when I set her down on the steps.

"She's in fifth grade and she's smart," I said then turned to her.

"You don't know much about your family," she chuckled when I turned to the door. I hushed her then walked inside ushering her inside.

"Hey May," I said kicking my shoes off.

"Hi," May answered sitting at the coffee table.

"Where's mom?" I asked when Ryan slipped off her flip flops.

"She's making supper," she answered then looked up at us. She smiled at Ryan then waved. Ryan smiled back then waved.

I lead Ryan to the kitchen where Mom was cooking and Dad was on his laptop. "What's for supper?" I asked walking over to Mom, leaving Ryan standing in the kitchen doorway.

"Cheesy broccoli and chicken," she answered then looked over her shoulder at Ryan. "You didn't tell me your friend was a girl," she mumbled to me.

"Ryan, this is my mom. Mom this is Ryan," I introduced them then chuckled when Ryan waved shyly. "And the guy on the computer is my dad," I chuckled when Dad looked at Ryan.

"So are you two, like dating?" Dad asked. Ryan blushed lightly.

"We've only known each other for like two days," I said then walked over to Ryan.

"She's cute," Dad yelled when I ushered Ryan back into the living room by May.

Ryan chuckled then sat down on the couch. I sat down next to her then looked at May who was pulling chess out from under the glass table.
