Evelyn gave Ryan her phone number a few hours later then left. Ryan looked at me after walking Evelyn out.
"What?" she asked quietly. I shook my head then slowly sat on the counter top. "Do you think I shouldn't have done that?" she asked slowly.
"It's up to you what you do," I said when she slowly leaned on me and put her head on my chest. "Just be careful," I kissed her on the forehead slowly.
"I'm going to go change," she mumbled then walked upstairs.
"I'll wait here," I shouted after her.
"Okay," she said making her way up the stairs.
I sat on the counter and pulled out my phone. I had got a Snapchat from Jessica late last night. I didn't open it because I was tired and it was almost two in the morning. The Snapchat was a message.
J: Where have you been?
Z: I moved Jess
J: When? Where?
Z: Like two months ago. I'm in New York.
J: City?
Z: State.
J: Why didn't you tell anyone?
Z: Mom told me not to
J: Bryce is missing
Z: He's not. His parents had the same idea Jess
J: He's there?
Z: Yeah, he lives right next store to me. I didn't know he was moving either, until he showed up.
Ryan walked down the stairs and kissed me on the cheek then looked at me phone. "Who's Jess?" she asked opening the fridge.
"She's a friend from back home," I turned my phone off then looked at Ryan, who grabbed a flavored water from the fridge then shut the fridge. She opened the water then nodded taking a drink.
"Girlfriend?" she asked slowly.
I shook my head then chuckled jumping off the cabinet. "You're my first girlfriend," I whispered then kissed her on the cheek and chuckled when she raised an eyebrow at me.
"You're lying," she smiled.
"I am not," I said then leaned back against the counter.
"I think you are," she chuckled.
"Okay," I put my hands up, "I didn't have a serious relationship before ours," I chuckled, "Usually it was just a lot of flirting," I smiled when she walked over to put her shoe on.
"Just a lot of flirting?" she chuckled then looked at me. "Good to know," she smiled.
"Are we going to my house already?" I asked.
She shook her head, "I'm going to go jump on my trampoline," she informed me then walked around me and out the backdoor. I followed her with a chuckle.
"You can't jump, you have a broken leg," I chuckled when she climbed onto the trampoline.
"Don't tell me what I can do," she said then laid on her back on the trampoline.
I chuckled then climbed onto the trampoline and laid next to her. "I wish my leg wasn't broken," she mumbled slowly laying on her stomach. "Because you can't do anything fun when your leg is broken," she put her head on my shoulder.
"What do you want to do?" I asked with a smile when she kissed me on the cheek.
"Walking normally for starters," she giggled. I chuckled then looked at her slowly. Her eyes were closed.
