"Why are we here so early?" I asked when Ryan and I walked into school at 7:15.

"Because I have an art project to do," she chuckled leading me to the art room.

"I agreed to this because?" I said when we walked in. Ryan grabbed her art project then set it on a desk.

"Because you didn't want me to walk," she said then kissed me on the forehead when I sat down and put my head down on the table.

"The things I do for you," I chuckled then turned my head and watched her paint. She smiled lightly then focused on her painting.

"If your still tired you can go sleep in your car," Ryan mumbled.

"I'm fine," I sat up then stretched. "What are you painting?" I asked leaning over to see.

"I'm painting a portrait," she answered then blushed lightly.

"Of who?" I asked moving to look at the canvas more. She blocked my view quickly then blushed.

"You'll see when it's done," she smiled slowly.

"Is it me?" I asked standing up to peak over her shoulder. She sighed slowly then turned and looked at me.

"Is it creepy if it was?" she asked quietly.

"No," I smiled then kissed her on the forehead. "Just don't make me look ugly," I chuckled then slowly wrapped my arms around her waist.

"I wouldn't have to make you look ugly," she giggled.

"Hey," I looked at her when she chuckled.

"I'm kidding," she said then looked around me at the time. "I need to start cleaning up," she smiled then slowly moved off of her stole.

"I'll help," I said when she grabbed her canvas and put it on the drying rack.

After all of her painting materials were cleaned and the table was clean, Ryan and I walked to Ryan's locker holding hands.

"When's Prom?" I asked Ryan when I leaned against the locker next to hers after she opened her locker.

"In like a month," Ryan answered then looked at me. "Why?" she smiled lightly.

"Just wondering," I smiled.

"When's basketball try outs?" Ryan asked slowly.

"In a week," I mumbled. "But I told you I don't want to be on the team," I chuckled.

"But you're good Zach," she grabbed her calculus text book then looked at me. "And you don't have to hang out with the stupid jocks," she whispered then closed her locker slowly. "You can just hang out with me," she smiled then leaned on her locker slowly then grabbed my hand.

"Ryan, I really don't want to be on the team," I mumbled slowly.

"Okay," Ryan sighed.

Bryce walked up with a couple jocks. "So I told the guys that you were good at basketball," Bryce said interrupting Ryan and I. "They want you to try out for the team,"

"Jeez," I sighed then wrapped my arm around Ryan's shoulders and started walking away with Ryan. "I am never going to be on the same team as him again," I said to Ryan as we walked away.

"I know," Ryan said when we stopped and leaned against a different wall. "I just want you to be happy," she said slowly.

"I am happy," I said then kissed her quickly before the bell rang.

"I'll see you at lunch," Ryan smiled.

"See you," I smiled when she pressed her lips against mine. She waved then started walking to class.
