The next morning I drove over to pick up Ryan for school.

"Who do you think it is moving in next store?" May asked when we pulled into Ryan's driveway.

"No idea," I said then unbuckled when Ryan slowly opened the door. "I'm going to go help Ryan," I said then climbed out.

I walked over and grabbed her backpack from her. "Thanks," she sighed then hopped to the car. "We have a new neighbor?" she asked when we climbed into the car.

"Yeah, they moved in last night," I chuckled. She hummed lightly then looked away from the house.

We dropped May off then I walked with Ryan into school.

"You wear snap-backs?" she asked me with a chuckle.

"Sometimes," I chuckled when she headed to her first hour.

I followed her and sat down next to her when we got into her class. She smiled then grabbed my snap-back from my head and put it on her head. "That's my snap-back," I whined.

"Well I'm wearing it now," she giggled.

When the first bell rang I stood up and left Ryan at her table. She smiled and waved lightly at me before a new kid walked into the door. I recognized him immediately. I walked past him quickly and kept walking to my first hour.

At lunch time, I helped Ryan get her food again. When we sat down she looked at me. "Did you see the new kid?" she asked.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"I don't like him," she mumbled, "He's the mean rich kid," she nodded. "He lives in the middle of us," she said then grabbed her milk. "His names Bryce," she mumbled.

"Sounds like a douche," I nodded. She nodded to then slowly put her head on my shoulder.

"He's coming over here," she mumbled.

"Hey, Ryan right?" he came over and pointed at Ryan. He set his tray down on the table then slowly looked at me. "Is this your boyfriend?" he asked looking away from me and back at Ryan. Ryan was still leaning on my shoulder.

"Yes," I answered for Ryan. Ryan looked at me confused then put her head back on my shoulder.

Bryce looked at me slowly then chuckled lightly shaking his head. After Ryan finished eating, we both stood up. I grabbed Ryan's tray and we both walked away from Bryce. Ryan slowly leaned against the wall then looked at me.

"So, we're dating?" she asked confused.

"Just wanted him to leave you alone," I mumbled leaning on the walk next to her.

"You got jealous," she chuckled.

"No I didn't," I shook my head.

"You did," she smiled then put her head on my shoulder.

"I did not," I chuckled. She looked up at me then smiled.

"You did," she nodded.

"I'm not going to argue," I chuckled.

"Okay, then you were jealous," she nodded.

"Whatever you say," I smiled. She smiled back then looked at the clock next to me.

"Let's head to class," she mumbled. We walked to class and stood outside the door.

The teacher came back from lunch and opened the classroom door. Ryan hopped in after the teacher. She hopped to the back of the classroom and sat down.
