"Zach," Ryan whispered the next morning waking me up.

"Yeah," I opened my eyes and looked at her.

"Are you awake?" she whispered again.

"I think so," I mumbled.

"I need to go to the bathroom," she mumbled back. I stood up then picked her up. She laughed when I walked her into the bathroom and stood her up by the toilet.

"Thanks," she giggled when I walked out of the bathroom and closed the door.

"Your welcome," I chuckled standing outside the door.

After a few minutes she opened the door. "I need my crutches," she mumbled.

"Okay," I chuckled then headed to the door.

"Wait, bring me with you," she laughed. I walked back over to her and picked her up. "This is fun," she giggled when I started walking down the stairs.

"Is it?" I chuckled.

"Yes," she put her head on my shoulder. "I forgot how long my stairs were," she mumbled.

"Just hope I don't drop you," I chuckled.

"I'd like to have one of my legs unbroken," she smiled when I set her on the ground.

I bent down and grabbed her crutches for her. "What do you want to do today?" I asked when she hopped over to the cereal cabinet.

"I need a new beanbag chair," she said grabbing a box of cereal.

"You need more than a beanbag chair," I laughed when she grabbed two bowls and set them on the counter. She glared at me then chuckled pouring cereal for both of us.

"I wouldn't need a beanbag chair if you didn't break it," she said then grabbed the milk from the fridge.

"You let me sit with you," I said when she handed me a bowl after I sat at the island.

"Whatever you say," she shook her head then moved to sit next to me.

"Where are we going to get this beanbag?" I asked after I was done eating.

"Walmart," she nodded before my phone started ringing. I stood up and walked my bowl to the sink then answered my phone. It was my mom.

"Hey Mom," I said then watched as Ryan pushed her empty bowl over to me.

"What are you and Ryan doing today?" she asked when I grabbed Ryan's bowl and rinsed it out.

"We're going to Walmart to get a new beanbag for Ryan," I chuckled.

"Did you know that Bryce Walker moved next store?" Mom asked.

"Yes, I did," I sighed, "That's why I stayed the night at Ryan's," I said then looked at Ryan when she stood up and made her way upstairs. "Just to be safe," I mumbled.

"I would feel safer if you stayed here," she answered. "If you're worried about Ryan she can stay here as long as you feel she needs to," she paused. "Are you and Ryan dating?" she asked.

"Mom," I chuckled rubbing my eyes.

"Do you like Ryan?" she asked. I stood in silence for a few seconds then sighed.

"Yeah," I mumbled.

"Then why aren't you two dating?" she asked.

"Mom," I sighed again. "Why did you call?" I mumbled.

"I'm making dinner tonight," she chuckled. "Bring your girlfriend," she said then hung up.

Ryan came back downstairs in a new change of clothes and looked at me. "What did she want?"she asked.
