summers with the boys

Here is a double upload in honor of me hitting 20k!!!! Wow, thank you so much!! I'm so blown away & grateful!! (this won't be all the boys)

summers with damon:
-he doesn't drink alcohol early in the mornings, he drinks ice tea and sits on the porch holding your hand
-he braids your hair when your neck gets hot and sweaty
-you'll buy a pizza and find a little grass in a public park and sit down and eat outside
-he smiles at you a lot
-you rent movies and open all the windows and let the cool breeze wash over you as you watch
-he'll take you to somewhere cool like new zealand. you'll spend three weeks there surfing and hiking and exhausting yourselves every day
summers with stefan:
-you sleep outside when it's not raining
-you'll sit on the porch during thunderstorms because you love the weather
-you spend half the summer in mystic falls and half driving across the US, staying in whatever state you choose and trying new foods and reveling in being away from the drama of mystic falls
-you go swimming at the waterfall
-he likes to kiss you right after you eat watermelon because he likes the taste
summers with klaus:
-with all that's going on, he can't afford to leave new orleans
-that doesn't mean he won't take you to the coolest bars in town
-and to a new thai place that just opened
-and let you lean against his chest while you watch jazz bands play at huge festivals
-you still have to scheme and plan but you do it in baseball caps, sitting on the steps and grinning at each other every once in a while when you're poring over a map of the city
-he'll put on frank sinatra late at night and twirl you around the living room while the crickets chirp outside
summers with elijah
-he figures klaus can handle the city by himself for seven days and whisks you away to paris the first week of june
-you eat pastries and walk around and he teaches you a little french
-when you get back to new orleans, you spend lots of time at the beach
-elijah won't always swims, but he'll read his book and smile at you while you do
-you'll bring hope to the beach and elijah will feel a little pang in his chest because you'd so obviously be a great mother
-he forgets all about it when you kiss him hard after having a few too many drinks at klaus' fourth of july party
summers with kol
-he drives you two to miami for the entire month of june
-you put on a classic rock playlist and stop for iced coffee all the time and he drives with one hand on the steering wheel and one on your knee
-you try tons of cuban food and get really tan in miami
-you buy lame hawaiian shirts and wear them when you get home, much to his brothers' chagrin
summers with marcel
-speaking of going to cool cities on vacation, marcel takes you to new york
-you're there for the fourth of july, and he wraps his arms around your waist and rests his head on top of yours while you watch fireworks explode on the hudson
-you go shopping on fifth avenue and watch movies at theaters with huge marquees
-you get back to louisiana in mid august and spend the rest of the time responsibility, doing all the work he missed outside in hammocks
-he still takes you out to dinner and whispers how much he loves you into your shoulder every night before you fall asleep
summers with kai
-he does not want to be anywhere near mystic falls
-so you two hop the next flight to los angeles
-you two can't sleep on the plane so you watch lame action movies together and take advantage of all the cool complimentary food
-he takes you to see all the sights
-you even stay at the beverly hills hotel
-you walk everywhere hand in hand (and generally with a coffee in the other hand)
-he leans over and kisses you on the cheek whenever he feels like it
-you two listen to music late at night in a little house you rent once you're done with hotels
-you're there from june to august and neither of you want to leave
-so when he suggests you just buy the house, you think, screw it
