Feels Like Heaven

Chapter 3 : The Start of Forever

The two young couple-to-be bid their goodbye to Toni and followed Billy inside the gate. They were having a long walk but they are enjoying the scene: little kids were running and having fun, some people at their age are dancing and singing. Everything seemed happy and peaceful in that place. They were preoccupied by their surroundings that they didn't notice that they stopped in front of a nice white house. 

"We're here." Billy said. The two were brought back to reality. "Before anything else, let me introduce myself. I am Billy Joe, the boss of love. and this is Zaijan my assistant." He pointed to the cute kid who come out of no where.

"Hi Sarah, Hi Gerald." Zaijan greeted them.

"Hi Zaijan!" Sarah and Gerald both said in chorus.

"You know you two look good together even though------" Zaijan never finished what he was talking about because Billy covered his mouth again.

"Anyway, Welcome to Heaven. I'm sure our visitors want to see where they are staying." Billy said and Zaijan nodded. While the two just looked at each other and shrugged at the incident.

Billy released Zaijan and toured the two inside the house. It wasn't to big but it wasn't small. There are two separate quarters and two comfort rooms, a sala, a dining, and a kitchen. Everything was perfectly clean and all things are white. They went out the garden and saw a swimming pool. They were awed by the place. 

"Hello Sarah and Gerald"  Kuya greeted.

The two jumped in surprise because there was only a voice.

"Oh yeah. That is Big Bro or Kuya. He owns the house so he'll be watching you." Billy said.

"What? We don't have privacy?" Sarah asked.

"Naku iha, don't be too conscious. I have been watching you always when you were in Earth." said Big Bro.

Billy and Zaijan nodded then sang "Every breath you take, Every move you make, Every bond you break, Every step you take.. He is watching youuuuuuuu."

"He's the Big Bro so you shouldn't be surprised." Billy said.

Sarah understood and just nodded. They continued with the tour and when everything else is settled, Gerald asked Billy.

"So what can we do here while we stay here?"

"Oh yeah, sorry we don't have gadgets and computer games. You can swim and exercise though. There are musical instruments and board games somewhere but that's all we've got." said Billy.

"Wow. Don't you guys get bored here?" Gerald ask.

"Of course not. Everything is happy and contented in Heaven." Zaijan smiled widely.

"So guys, we're gonna go ahead. We still have to fix your problem. We'll be back when everything is settled. You guys, feel at home and enjoy your stay." Billy said.

They gave there goodbyes and when the two were alone. Gerald spoke up.

"Sooooooo, it's just the two of us now..." 

"If your planning to do something bad, I will scream!" Sarah threatened.

"Excuse me, Ms. Geronimo, sino ngayon ang makapal ang muka?" Gerald said then walked away into his room. 

"Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhh!" Sarah yelled in frustration.

They spent the rest of the day separately not minding each other's business. But as hours passes by, they started to run out of things to do and get bored...

Kuya noticed this and decided to interrupt the deafening silence inside his house.

"You can talk you know." 

Both jumped in surprise again. But this time they laughed. They looked at each other and smiled. Gerald approached Sarah and talked to her.

"Hey." Gerald greeted.

"Hey." Sarah greeted back shyly.

Both took a deep breath before talking again.

"I'm sorry." They both said at the same time and they laughed again. 

"We both started at the wrong foot, but since we are the only two humans here right now, I guess we have no choice but to be friends."  Gerald said.

"Is that really bad?" Sarah asked jokingly.

"I'm sure I could suffer through it." Gerald joked. 

Sarah hit him in his shoulder and laughed. "Yeah, I guess me too. So friends?" Sarah said offering her hand.

Gerald got it and smiled "Friends."

On the other side of heaven.....

Everyone was cheering and shouting. Everybody was happy with the outcome of the relationship of the two young love birds. They were watching the whole time in Billy's viewing room.

"Kinikilig ako! Grabe!" Toni said. 

"HA! I knew this would still work." Billy said.

"How would this work, if in -----" Zaijan was about to but in but again, Billy covered his mouth.

"Just trust me on this. I know this would work out." Billy said then released Zaijan.

Zaijan just nodded and sighed.

They continued watching the blockbuster tandem waiting for new developments..

Back on earth.......

Sarah and Gerald are both in a coma. When the medics found them, Gerald took most of the damage of the explosion. However Sarah hit her head when they were thrown away by the impact of the explosion. They were both sent to Manila Doctor's but after they were diagnosed safe and okay, Sarah's father insisted that she is transferred to Asian Medical Center, where the facilities are better. Gerald was also transferred there since Sarah's father wanted to repay his heroism for saving his daughter's life.

After Sarah was stabilized, (but still in a coma), her father decided to bring her to the US while he asked his business partners to take care of their company and at the same time take care of his daughter's savior. He will be eternally grateful to him and his family for saving his daughter's life. But for now, his priority is his daughter. He needs her to wake up.

Gerald hasn't woken up but he is more stable. His back was mildy burnt and he has a couple of broken bones due to the impact of the explosion but the doctor says he's going to be ok after he has woken up. He is visited everyday by his friends while his mother stay by his side everyday. She continuously go for a novena to ask the Heaven's above for her son to be back. Her son is her source of strength and she needed him to be alright.

While the two are sleeping, unconscious with the reality, suspicions and news errupted the whole metro. Some said there's a terrorist plot, some believed its an accident, there were also some who believed that someone wants the extra-ordinary girl dead. But as these rumors die down, only one topic remain -- Who is Gerald Randolph Anderson?

Author's Note:

Sarah and Ge are now friends in Heaven, but will they remember being friends, and go to being lovers on earth? Or will Gerald be just a hero to Sarah, nothing more since she is now in US? Find out as my story progress. :)
