Chapter 11 : Strange Hearts

It has been six months after their launch. They've been labeled as the Popstar Prince and Princess. They were the most sought  artists in the entertainment industry. Project proposals on teleseryes, concerts, movies, TV apperance for the two of them flooded Zaijan's office.

After their first performance together in ASAP, they've received their own segment in ASAP called "SaGe in Love", which they gladly accepted. They were to sing duets together, as requested by some of the viewers. This Sunday's no exception. They will be singing Gotye's "Somebody That I Used To Know".  Their call time was 8AM.

Sarah arrived happily in the studio. She was an hour early. She was excited to see Gerald. She finally figured out what her dream meant. Gerald is a kind of guy who had built walls, but she knew deep down in that heart, is a wonderful guy. She saw behind all those walls, there's a door somewhere and she's willing to knock until he finally open up that door. She realized they have this connection. Yes, he has been a big jerk, but he's making her feel things that makes her heart melt. Those eyes may be full of darkness, but it is like a magnet that she couldn't resist. And those lips... she doesn't know if she could still look at them without the desire of tasting it.

When she reached her dressing room, she was surprised to see a bouquet of flowers at her desk. There was no note from whom the flowers were from. When she turned around, she saw the person responsible for the bouquet, holding a single long-stem red rose.

Gerald was late. He got into to the studio at 8:15 AM. He woke up late due to lack of sleep. He was clueless what his dream meant but he knew the Heaven's had to do something with it. He called Billy, Toni and Zaijan, but they didn't give him real answers. They just made things more confusing.

When he entered the studio, Sarah and the whole crew were already there, but to his surprise,  Paulo is there. Gerald noticed Sarah was enjoying Paulo's company. His heart stops whenever he sees them together. Anger is building up his nerves, so he stopped at his tracks and tried to calm himself. He approached the staff and crew and apologized for being late. He ignored Sarah and Paulo's presence. Gerald's gesture pissed off Sarah. She was about to confront him, when the director called their attention. He looked stiff, his fist were tightly clenched

They huddled up for their production number. They were positioned facing each other, while their stage director is between them. Sarah looked at Gerald from head to toe. His fist was clenched into a ball. He looked stiff and angry. This annoyed her even more. 

Siya na nga tong bastos, siya pa tong may ganang magalit! Sarah thought silently. When I thought everything is okay, he's starting to act like a jerk again! 

"Guys, I know this kind of different from your usual love songs. This song is intense, full of anger. Do you think you could do that?" The director instructed.

Gerald nodded then walked back to his seat to grab some drink before they officially start their rehearsals. One of the back up dancers went and approached him. Even though he wasn't in the mood, he tried his best to entertain her without being really rude. She had nothing to do with the rage building up his system anyway. 

The scene didn't come unnoticed to Sarah's eyes. If she was just pissed at him earlier. Now she was furious. She couldn't deny the jealousy she was feeling. She wanted to crush the girl's face with her bare hands, and she wanted to grab Gerald on his ear so they could talk. She didn't know this kind of violence existed in her system until now. Her thoughts of ways how to strangle the girl were interrupted when their director called them so they could start their rehearsals.
