Chapter 16 : Won't Give Up on Us

At Gerald's House...

She kissed him. Sarah Geronimo kissed him. And that's not just it.. He actually feel that he loves her. It was something to be happy about. But he couldn't help but feel sad and disappointed. When she immediately pulled away and he saw the regret and confusion in her eyes. Gerald wonders if Sarah regretted the kiss or if she regretted that they couldn't be together because she's already in a relationship. It just sucks to be in this kind of situation, but he knew Sarah's more in a more difficult situation right now.. He just wish everything would be better soon.  

He's been sitting in his couch holding his phone for hours now. It's already 1AM according to his phone but he couldn't let go of his phone. He wanted to call her, but he wasn't sure if he should. He wanted to talk to her, and tell her that he love her and he's willing to fight for his love for her, especially he knows that she feels something for him. He has his guardians as backup, but his problem is how to win her back...

At Sarah's House...

She's been twisting and turning at her bed for hours now. Her clock says its already 2AM. She looked at her ceiling and sighed deeply. She kissed him. She actually kissed him. She touched her lips and she couldn't help but smile. But the smile immediately falters whenever she remembers that it was a mistake. She couldn't help but feel confused. She wanted to follow her heart but she knew it's wrong. She couldn't hurt Paulo. He's nothing but nice to her. She cared for her deeply and she knows she loved him as well; however not as much as she loved and still loves Gerald.

Gerald Anderson is one complicated guy. She wasn't really sure if he felt the same. That's what confused her the most. He's a person really hard to read. Did he love her as well? But after the kiss, that short but wonderful kiss, she saw those feelings in his eyes. His eyes that do wonders to her soul. She wasn't sure how or why, but those eyes captivated her the most. 

She wonders if he had feelings for her, then it would complicate things further. She knew from the start, her life was already complicated, she was the heir of the Geronimo group of companies after all. But she didn't know it would be more complicated because of a certain Gerald Anderson. 

She turned to the window, and looked at the moon which is visible by her window. It's beautiful. It's like how she sees his eyes. So beautiful, and captivating. She wonders how she could look directly at those eyes again. She wasn't sure if she wanted to see him this soon. She kissed him for goodness sake! It's embarassing and awkward. She wanted to tell him the kiss was just nothing, but she wasn't sure if he'll believe her.

She turned to the other side and she heard her phone vibrated. Oh, I forgot to turn it off. She thought. She checked it and saw it was Gerald who texted her.

From Gerald "Savior" Anderson:

I know it's late and you're probably already asleep. But I'm still hoping we could talk. Things has been crazy lately. Especially after you kissed me. I wouldn't want to be rude, so I wanted to talk to you in person. So, by the time you wake up, you might want to check me outside your house. I'll be waiting. Thank you.

His text made me bolt up out of bed.  Oh my Gosh! She thought. Her heart is close to having a panic attack. She wasn't sure if she should face him, she doesn't want to but she pities him and she couldn't risk people seeing him outside her house at this time of the day. So she decided to face him. She called her guard to let Gerald in. 

She was already in her pajamas so she covered herself with her robe. She went down but not before taking a deep breathe. She saw him sitting at the couch, he looked anxious.. well who wouldn't be? she thought. When he saw him he immediately stood up.
