Inside Kuya's Confession Room...

The guys stood while the girls seated inside the small room called “confession room” while waiting for Kuya’s instructions. Sarah and Gerald were all smiles while holding each other’s hands. Even they were around other people in a crowded place, they looked like they have their own world. The other three inside, watched the two, smiling due to the success of putting the new couple together; however, they have an uneasy feeling knowing that this had to end soon and they’ll be starting over on the same mission.

*ahem* *ahem* Kuya cleared his throat to get attention. The five people looked in front where the camera-like gadget is placed.

“Sarah, Gerald, you might be wondering why I called you here.”  The two nodded in agreement. “As we have mentioned earlier, your stay here is only temporary.” The two nodded again. “And now, everything is fixed, the time is now has come for you to go back.”

Sarah and Gerald looked at each other happily. They both like their stay here but they both miss their family and friends.

“However, I since I have seen that both of you are both enjoying your stay in here, I will give you two choices.” Kuya said thoughtfully. “Your two choices are, to go back and continue living your life, but forgetting everything that happened in here, even the friendship you two has established, or you stay here to leave everything behind on earth. I will give you one day to decide.”

Sarah and Gerald’s smile started to fade and looked at each other questioningly. They also looked at the other three people in the room who seem oblivious to what Kuya said. The couple were asked to stay while the three were left for Kuya’s further instructions.

“I know you are wondering why I gave them a choice.” The three nodded. “Technically, I didn’t because whatever happens, I know their choices would be to go back. I only gave them a day so they can spend more time together. I will only remove what their brain remembers, but I will retain what is in their heart. Which brings me to your next mission....”

When the three left the room, they saw Sarah and Gerald seriously talking to each other. The three left them alone and gave them privacy.

“So...” Sarah and Gerald said. They both laughed.

“You first.” They said at the same time again which made them laugh again.

Sarah gestured Gerald that he may talk first and Gerald politely obliged.

“So, we have a day to decide...” Gerald said sadly and Sarah nodded. “Wow. It’s just wow.”

“I know... “Sarah looked down sadly.

“I’ve never felt so happy and contented when I’m with you...” Gerald said then held her hands.

“Me too... but you do know we have to go back eventually.” She said looking at their intertwined hands.

Gerald sighed heavily, as much as he wanted to stay with her, he knew that she is right. They have some unfinished business back on earth. They too have to think about their family and friends down there.

“You know, I’ve never felt wanted like how you made me feel.” She said looking at him, smiling sadly.

“Are you kidding me? You are the most loved person in the Philippines today. Everybody wanted to be you.” He said bewildered with what she said.

Sarah released Gerald’s hands and she went at the balcony of the house and looked outside.

“I know you would say that, but... my father’s always busy for me and I don’t really have friends. Yeah, I have so called friends, who I spend my time with, but they’re just there because I’m famous. I don’t have real friends... They just love me because I’m famous, they don’t love me the way I am. I can never be myself with them. I don’t have anyone to share the same relationship as we do.” She said while tears are starting to fall from her eyes.
