Chapter Seven

Melissa P.O.V

I woke up to my stupid alarm, why so early? Oh right the friend tag thing, it wouldn't be classified as a date since Nash and Cam are coming, I walked over to my closet to find something to wear, it's 8:30 so I still have thirty minutes, I quickly have a shower and leave my hair natural as I'll be getting it wet anyway, I look through my closet and try and find my favourite bathers, the black ones with little white bows on the bottoms, I put them on and also take my light blue denim shorts, I put a white see through top on so that you can see my bathers, I put on my red vans and the outfit looked pretty cool,

I don't reply since I haven't even told mum yet, I walk over to the edge of the staircase where mum was cleaning, "hey uh mum can I go to the waterpark with Matt?", she looked well... Surprised? "Talk to your father", she says and walks away, of course he will say no! I walk down the stairs only meters from her while watching her put the duster down and cross her arms, "Mum please, he's really not a bad guy, we're just friends", she thinks for a bit then kisses my cheek, "be good" she says, I give her a hug and run off back up to my room then get to my balcony, I open my door and Matt's at his balcony, "Dad said he's going to cut half of this tree down so it'll be easier to see you" he said, I smiled but thank god he didn't see me, "meet me downstairs?", he asked.
"Yeah sure, where's Cam and Nash?" I ask before leaving,
"They'll meet us there in an hour" he replied and I heard his door close, oh my gosh, an hour alone with Matt, please don't screw up!

I get downstairs wearing my bathers and clothes, I had my phone in my pocket and took twenty dollars, then I walked out of the house and saw Matt sitting on the grass so I decided to play a game, I slowly walk up behind him and whisper "guess who", I hear him laugh a little,
"Umm I have no idea? Is it Nash?" I start to laugh and let him go, I pull him up and he gives me a hug, I could get used to this! I look up at my balcony and across it is Nash and Cam, "don't mind them they're just jealous, they don't have any girls in Virginia like me, I mean girls that are friends, that came out so bad", I laugh a little and take his hand,
"I mean we're just friends right?" I can't believe I just held his hand and what was even crazier is that he held it back and then we started walking, it was a twenty minute walk so we just decided to walk instead of driving.

"So how's your new house?" He asks
"oh yeah it's pretty good, umm can I ask you a question?" this question had been on my mind all morning, he nods his head allowing me to ask, "what do you do in your spare time? I mean I know you have football and homework but besides that... You're so famous on vine I'm guessing you'd be doing something like that? Girls go crazy for you", he laughs a little and looked at me,
"Fine... I'll be honest, I make YouTube videos, and I'm not famous, I love my followers they're amazing but yeah I make videos, but don't tell anyone, they will find out eventually but I don't want people to think I want attention, I don't really care what people think though, I do it for fun, not to make money out of it but the money is nice sometimes", we both laugh and he stops walking which pulls me back since we're holding hands, "now it's my turn... can I kiss you? I mean I think I like you, I'm honestly not sure, and I just need to see if I do or don't", YES YES SAY YES! I've never kissed anyone before though...

"Sure" I whisper back and he leans in, ok just follow his lead, he closes his eyes and I do the same, he pushes his lips onto mine and I felt a little spark, just a little one and it felt so great, we kissed for a few seconds and pulled away, I couldn't tell if he made up his mind, he was smiling and then he looked away from me, oh god was it that bad? am I not a good kisser? He was perfect though!
We don't say anything until we get to the water park, "I'll pay for us" he said,
"Nah Matt I brought money, I'll pay", he starts to frown,
"Mel I WANT to pay for us",
"Why?" I ask
"Because I asked you to come with me so I'll shout, when you ask me then you can shout", he says sarcastically but I laugh anyway, I give him this annoyed look.
"Fine", I say and then we get our wristbands and walk inside, woah it looked amazing!
"Which ride to go on first?" He says as we walk past pools and slides and rides, We take our over clothes off and put them in a bag he brought, he gave the bag to someone at the cafe, "who was that?" I asked, "he's just a mate, he always takes care of my bag when I come, since I'm here almost ever summer, where do you want to go first?" I spotted a water slide and stopped, he kept walking and then realised I stopped, when he looked back at me I smiled and then looked back at the slide, he met my gaze and walked over to me, he took my arm and started running, "quick lets beat the line" he said and we ran together towards the ride. We got there and there were two separate tunnels to go through, I chose the pink one since I felt bad because he was a guy, even though I HATE pink! He sat in the blue one and we waited until the staff member said to go....."GO", I slid so fast the water felt amazing on my skin, just to be there and have fun with him, by the time I came out of the slide he was just getting to the bottom, we both got in the pool and started laughing, "wanna go to the pool? I think Cam and Nash are here", I smile and he puts his arm around my waist half way on the walk. We get to the wave pool, Cam and Nash are there recording stuff until they look at us, "What happened to the friend zone? Yeah I can see this relationship going further", Cam says and winks at us, I start laughing a little and walk over to the pool. Nash, Cam and Matt walk over to the chairs and start talking.
