The Graveyard Shift

Chapter 9

**Ryan's POV**

"Aw, that's so awesome baby" she said coming over and kissing me

"I missed you." I said as I held her in my arms

"I missed you too. It's hard being here without you"

"Daddy! Your home!" The little girl ran into my arms and I picked her up

"We're so glad your home"

"Me too, Jenna. Me too"

I sat up in my bunk my heart was racing. Why did I dream that? I just wanted to lay here and not think about her, yet all I can think about is her. I got up and sat in the lounge area.

"Why are you up so early?" Ghost asked

"I had a dream and I didn't want it to continue so I just got up"

"Was it about Jenna?"

"How'd you know?"

"Lucky guess. What happened in this dream?"

"We had a daughter and we were together." I said as a smile found it's way to my face

"I think you and I both know you like her." Ghost said and got up and went to his bunk

I opened my instagram app and went to Jenna's profile. Maybe when I get home I can try to reconnect with her. 

**Jenna's POV**

"So go see him! What's the worst that could happen you see him, make out with him, marry him the have his babies its so simple!" Zoey said

"I will not go up to him after not seeing him for 4 years and say 'hey, let's get it on get married and have babies" I said rolling my eyes

"I would. He's pretty hot" Zoey said showing me a picture of Ryan

"He's a punkhead" I said laughing remembering the first time I called Ryan that.

Max jumped on the couch next to me and put his head in my lap.

"I kinda want a boyfriend" I said

"Sooo, go see Ryan! At least give him another chance. He seems like a good guy"

"I guess having a friendship with him wouldn't hurt anything" I said I wonder if he still has the same number. I sent him a text

Uh, who's this?

Jenna

Oh, hey. Sorry, guess I lost your number

It's ok. How are you?

Good. I'm on tour in Australia

That's amazing Ryan! I always knew you'd make it.

So, did you ever finish college?

Yeah! Have my own shop now

Ryan and I talked for hours. We talked about anything and everything. That spark we had all those years ago came rushing back. Maybe when he gets home we can pick up where we left off. Ryan and I seemed to have finally clicked.

I got up the next morning to take the pictures for Ryan Ashley. I drove over to her store and met up with her.

"Hey Jenna! We were just checking out my boyfriend's new song!" She said

"I forgot they were in a band"

"Check it out" she said showing me the song, and I'm not gonna lie they are pretty good
