Chapter 27

**Jenna's POV**

I woke up in Ryan's arms. I knew I was in his room at his house. I looked at the time on my phone 3:06 am. I sighed and tried to go back to sleep. I eventually fell into a deep sleep

"Nooooo! Mommy!" The little girl ran into my arms

"What's wrong?"

"Daddy's gonna get me!" She said pointing to Ryan as he walked into the room

"Oh no! Lets get him!"

The little girl ran to Ryan acting as if she was fighting him

"You won!" Ryan said eventually giving up

"I can't wait to play with my brother!" The girl said kissing my swollen stomach

"We can't wait either" Ryan said

"No! No! No!" I said sitting up in Ryan's bed my heart was pounding. I was trying to catch my breath

"What's wrong?" Ryan asked

"We had a daughter, and I was pregnant with our son. We had a family" I said smiling at him

"It'll happen soon. I promise" Ryan said kissing me

"Would you want to have a baby with me?" I asked

He nodded "if you want one with me'

"I do! I just need some more time. The miscarriage is just too raw still"

Opening up to Ryan like this really helps me. The past two weeks I've just been thinking of everything we could have been if we had a baby.

"You know, I had a dream we had a daughter too" Ryan said

"Really? Maybe we're ment to have a little girl one day."

"Maybe one day" Ryan said

"Just not anytime soon. Your career is taking off and so is mine. We should focus on us for now"

"I agree. Do you wanna run away with me this weekend?" He asked

"Yes! We haven't done that in a while."

"Ok, we can go this weekend" Ryan said kissing me

"Thank you for helping me through all of this. I don't know what I would do without you"

"You'd probably be dating Ricky"

I laughed "yeah right! Ricky and I never ever would have dated we just hung out all the time"

Ryan and I laid there until there was a knock on Ryan's bedroom door

"Come in!" Ryan said

"I'm taking Jamie out to breakfast and she wanted to see if you wanted to go?" Ricky asked

Ryan looked at me and I nodded

"Just give us a few too get ready" Ryan said

At breakfast

"So, Jenna how are you feeling?" Jamie asked

"I'm ok. It'll take time"

"Well, I know I'm not Ryan or Zoey but if you need to talk just let me know"

"Thanks Jamie"

Jamie and I talked all through breakfast. It was nice to laugh again. I've only known Jamie for a few months but it feels like I've known her for years.

"Got plans for this weekend?" Ricky asked Ryan

"Yeah, I'm taking Jenna out of town"

"Where are y'all headed?" Ricky asked

"Probably Pittsburgh. Jenna likes to shop there" Ryan said
