**Jenna's POV**
The semester is over, and now I'm preparing for the spring semester. Ryan and I have been hanging out a lot lately, but we haven't made things offical between us. I applied for a school in Philadelphia so if I get in I'll be moving next fall. Ryan quit his job at the record store due to his heavy touring schedule. So, I don't see him as often as I'd like too. I am on my way to see him now though.
"Hey Jenna" Ryan said as I walked up to him
"Hey Ryan" I said as he pulled me into a hug
We sat down at this booth in this little diner.
"So, I'm leaving next week" Ryan said
"For how long this time?" I asked
"Who knows. When our album comes out hopefully we'll get new fans and always be touring!"
I'm happy for him. I really am I just don't want him to leave.
"That's awesome, Ryan! Your band is taking off. I'm going to a good school."
"Where are you going to school at?"
"Philadelphia. I'm doing all online classes though so I'll still be in Scranton for the most part."
"Good, because I would miss you if you moved away" Ryan said
"I'll always be here when you need me" I told him smiling
Ryan and I flirt as if we would be a couple, but act like friends. I don't know what to make of this.
A few days later
I gave Ryan a hug before he got into the van to leave.
"Take care of yourself. Call me if you need anything" I said holding him tightly
"Can you not crush my bones" Ryan said as I let go
"Sorry." I said looking down
"Hey Jenna" he said as I looked up at him. He cupped my face in his hands and kissed me. It was a soft kiss, but very enjoyable. Our lips moved in sync as if his lips were ment for mine. We pulled apart and he got into the van. I stood on the side walk until the van was completely out of my sight.
I drove home and got all my backpack and papers in order for school.
"Oh, Jenna!!!" Zoey said as she came home
"What's up?" I said as I walked into the living room
"Meet Max" Zoey said holding a puppy German Sheppard in her arms
"He's so cute!" I said holding him
"He's a rescue. We found him all alone in the cold. I took him to the vet and he's perfectly healthy so he's ours" Zoey said
"That's awesome! We need to go buy him a bed, blankets, toys, and food. However for tonight we'll make do" I said knowing most stores were closed by now
Zoey and I watched a movie and Max cuddled up next to us. I'm so happy we finally got a dog. He's so loveable. Hopefully he'll be just the thing to keep my mind off of Ryan
