The Graveyard Shift

Chapter 2

**Ryan's POV**

I walked into Angelo's small garage to start practice. Everyone was here except Chris which isn't surprising he was ALWAYS late to everything.

"What's new?" Balz asked

"Uh, not much." I said

"Find a job yet?" He asked

"Not yet, soon though hopefully" I said

All my friends have jobs, Chris and Angelo work at a tattoo shop. Ricky is going to college and has a job there. Balz works at some pet store, and Devin AKA Ghost works with his dad.

"So, whos the unlucky girl going on a date with Chris?" Ricky asked

"No idea." Angelo said from behind his drums

"She's actually lucky and her name is Jessica" Chris said

"Do we know her?" I asked

"Uh, no. sure don't." Chris said "Ready to start?"

"I guess since you're going to avoid our questions" Ricky said

So, we practiced for a good hour then Chris left and the rest of us decided to play some video games and order pizza. As you can tell we have pretty crazy Saturday night...NOT

**Jenna's POV**

"Bye Kevin! Bye Cody!" I said as I got into my car and drove home

I picked up a pizza and milkshakes for me and Zoey on my way home since I knew I wasn't going to cook after the day I've had.

"I'm home! And I brought food!!" I said

"Cool! I had the worst day at work! The new guy Josh called in because he had band practice. I cant believe he did that! It was just me at the store." Zoey said entering our kitchen

"That sucks. Have you gotten any puppies at the store?" I asked knowing they don't normally have dogs or cats

"Not yet, but you'll be the first to know when we get one"

The rest of the night was pretty quiet until Zoey thought it was nessecary to bang on her drum set at 2 am

"You do know I have to be at work at 7 am right!?!?" I said going into her room

"Sorry?" Zoey said

I just shook my head and walked back to my room trying to set some sleep before the day ahead of me.

I woke up four hours later and got ready for work. I told zoey I was leaving and she just rolled over in her bed. When I arrived at work it was just me and Kevin.

"What's the plan for today?" I asked

"Same as usual. Clean, help customers and sell some stuff"

"Alright" I said and walked around

About noon some guy walked in wearing all black and had some makeup in

"Can I help you?" I asked

"Uh, no just looking around. Thanks though" he said as see looked around

He looked around for a good 30 minutes then left

"What's going on, Jenna!!!" Zoey yelled as she walked in

"Would you knock it off? I do work here ya know!!!" I told her

"Well, I brought you food! Are you happy now?"

"That's the least you could do after waking me up at 2 am" I said laughing to myself
