Chapter 30

**Jenna's POV**
A year later

Ryan and I have moved into a beautiful home about a year ago. Max moved in with me and Pumpkin moved in with Zoey and Blade. They had a baby 4 months ago and he's the cutest little boy ever! Ryan's band has really taken off and they are about to start working on their 4th studio album soon. I'm on my way to Zoey's now to hang out with her.

I lightly knocked on her door waiting for an answer

"Hey Jenna" Zoey said opening the door

"Hey Zoey. What's up?"

"Just taking care of Jaxson. I'm getting ready to go back to work" Zoey said

"I see. Where is he? I wanna hold him" I said

"He's napping. He should be up soon" Zoey said

"So what else is going on?" I asked

"Nothing much. How's everything with Ryan?"

"Great actually. I'm so in love with him" I said smiling at the thought of Ryan

"When is he gonna make an honest woman out of you? I feel like y'all have been together forever"

"I honestly don't think Ryan is the marrige type. I'd be happy if it was just him and I for the rest of my life"

"So you don't want a baby anymore?" She asked

"I don't know Zoey. I mean Ryan hasn't said anything about it in a while"

"Talk to him. The worst thing he could say is no."

I just shrugged as I heard Jaxson start to cry. I got Jaxson for Zoey.

"You're a natural at this" Zoey said from the doorway as I had Jaxson in my arms

"Thanks Zoey"

"Can you watch him for me and Blade tomorrow?" She asked

"Yeah, I would love too" I said smiling

The next day

"Don't forget Zoey is bringing me the baby tonight" I told Ryan as he was getting ready

"I haven't forgotten." Ryan said putting his hat on

"Come lay with me" I said petting the bed

"I can't I gotta go, but I'll see you later" Ryan said kissing me

"Fine, I love you"

"I love you too, Jenna. I'll see you later"

I just had a lazy day by myself while Ryan was out. About 4 Zoey came over

"Ok, here's everything he'll need and if you need me just call"

"Alright, have fun!"

I played on the couch with Jaxson for an hour before Ryan came home.

"Hey Jenna,"

"Hey, what did you do all day?"

"Just ran some errands. Can I hold him?" Ryan asked pointing to the baby

I handed the baby to Ryan as he sat next to me.

"He's cute" Ryan said as he admired the baby

"I know," I said laying my head on Ryan's shoulder

"This could have been us" he said quietly

I didn't reply. We rarely talk about the miscarriage anymore. Don't get me wrong we still get emotional over it, but it's not brought up everyday. However, I think we're both ready for a baby. We'll just never admit it to one another
