The Graveyard Shift

Chapter 10

**Ryan's POV**

I'm getting ready to go to Ryan Ashley and Balz's house for dinner. I've been texting Jenna off and on since that day she texted me, but we still haven't seen each other. I still really like her I just don't know what to do with my feelings. Do I ignore them? Do I listen to them and try to get with her? I don't even know anymore. I grabbed my keys and left. Once I arrived I saw all my bandmates and the crew. We were all hanging out and having a great time. Ricky even brought the girl he's been seeing.

"Have you seen Jenna since we've been home?" Ricky asked

"Uh, no. I want to she's just so busy."

"I saw her a few days ago. She came to meet Jamie. She said Ryan Ashley invited her to come tonight"

"Really? Well hopefully she will. I'd love to see her"

"There she is! Fix your fly!" Ricky said

"What!?" I said noticing my fly was up

"Got ya" Ricky said getting up and going to talk to Ghost and Kylie

Part of me is nervous to see her again. I mean I kissed her then never tried to start a relationship with her. Will she even want to start a relationship with me now after all these years? I doubt she'll give me another chance. When we text I never brought up the idea of staring to date again, but maybe I should have.

**Jenna's POV**

I've been sitting in my car for 15 minutes. I haven't gotten the courage to go in there. I want to see Ryan but I'm nervous. Ricky said Ryan wanted to meet up with me he just hasn't yet. Maybe I'm over thinking this. Or maybe I'm not and this could go horribly wrong. I grabbed my keys and walked to the backyard where everyone was.

"Hey Jenna!" Ryan Ashley said "I'm glad you could make it!!"

"Yeah me too" I said looking around. I saw Ryan talking to some guy I didn't recognize. Ryan looked good. He cut his hair had a few more tattoos, but underneath it all he was still Ryan.

A while later I saw Ryan sitting on a chair by himself

"Is this seat taken?" I asked pointing to the seat next to him

"Uh, no go ahea-" he stopped talking when he saw it was me "Jenna! It's really you!" He said hugging me

I remember the last time we hugged like this. It was right before that kiss.

"It's nice to talk to you in person and not over text" I said

"I know. I've been wanting to hang out with you, but with me recording a new album and you doing photo shoots all the time"

"Well, I have some time off this weekend"

"Awesome, me too. Maybe we can hang out?" Ryan said

"Yes! I would really like that"

Ryan and I hung out almost all night, and I can't wait till this weekend
