(your POV)

I had slept in for most of the day knowing tonight was going to be the first night I would work the night shift with Travis. It was around 5 when I decided to get up and get ready for the shift that started at 10:00pm, the last tour time before we shut down for the night. My mind whizzed with conspiracies about Travis and why he drastically changed, from aliens to ghost, all sounding so silly. Well I guess I'll find out why during my night shift.

I packaged up a meal for tonight's night shift just in case and made myself dinner (whatever you want). As I ate my dinner, my mind was aimlessly drifting from thought to thought, such as, who are the weekend workers, what should I expect from Travis tonight, are there really ghost in the asylum? My thoughts were interrupted by my doorbell ringing, I knew it wasn't my parents since they were busy working but my curiosity got the best of me and I stood up, taking the last bite of my dinner before walking towards my door.

I looked out the peephole to see, surprisingly, Travis! I opened the door with confusion "How do you know where I live?"

He rubbed the back of his neck before replying "Oh, I asked Jasmine for it. Anyways, since we got off on the wrong foot I figured I would make it up by taking you to the asylum on my motorbike, that is, if you want to." He spoke, pointing towards his motorbike in the driveway. I pondered whether or not I wanted to ride the motorbike or not. Nothing against Travis' motorbike skills he may or may not have but it made me slightly nervous. Well, I guess there's no harm, I mean, the asylum is nearby.

"Sure, why not? Let me just grab my bag and helmet!" I exclaimed and ran back into my house, leaving the door open to a shocked Travis. I grabbed my bag, lunch, keys, and helmet before racing back to the door and stopped at the doorway slightly out of breath. Travis stepped out of the way as I exited my house and locked the door behind me. Travis tucked a few strands of hair that covered his ears before putting on his own helmet. I saw his gauges again in better detail. They were a red spike and he had two on each ear, the first one was a small gauge while the second piercing was a regular piercing but the two earring looked the same besides the second one being smaller.

He clipped on his helmet and told me to hop on the back and to wrap my arms around him for safety which I oblige. The ride was quiet and peaceful until we got to the asylum. We both hopped off and saw the last tour group enter the building.

"You can go throw on your uniform Travis, I'll tell Jasmine we're here." He nodded in agreement and walked in with me. I ran up to Jasmine who was talking behind the desk, telling people to go to the waiting room to wait for the tour to start.

"Hey Jasmine!" I gleemed. She looked up with a smile,

"How's it going?" she asked.

"Nothing really, everything's alright. I'm slightly nervous about the night shift but also excited." I told her the truth. I knew nothing really bad would happen but it was still a little nerve racking knowing I'd be in an abandoned asylum all night.

"As long as you have Travis with you, you'll be fine! Trust me, Travis is a really fun guy to be around!"

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind, thanks for encouraging me, I'm sure Travis and I will have a great time tonight!" I began to walk away, " Good luck with your shift Jasmine." She replied with a thank you and I turned my head only to bump into one of the tourist.

"Sorry about that." I nervously chuckled, looking at the man I bumped into. He just gave a curt smile and waved it off, continuing in his path toward the front desk. I went on my way towards the employee's only room. I opened the door to see Travis shirtless facing away from me. I would've immediately closed the door if the tattoos on his back and arms didn't entice me. They were tribal like and a nice maroon. He put on his long sleeved uniform and turned around to see me and gave a little shriek. I instantly began to stutter out words.
