(Y/N) POV)
The weekend flew by and Monday arrived faster than Jasmine and I could anticipate. I wasn't very thrilled to go back, but who would knowing someone got hurt. The cops say that the Asylum should be safe, since the attack on Travis looked to be a car accident but I knew better. Nobody gets claw marks from a car. They just wanted to keep the town calm, which I understand but they refuse to investigate this further! I guess I'll have to investigate myself tonight.
I had to walk to the asylum today since Travis took me home on Friday, causing me to leave my bike behind. It was nice though to be able to absorb my surroundings. The town was definitely in need of a touch up but no one seemed bothered by it. The streets weren't crowded as per usual. It was nice, peaceful. It took all the stress off my shoulders to see peace. It's been awhile I've had time to do 'normal things' ever since I've moved here. Maybe once Travis gets out of the hospital I can invite him and Jasmine for a day out in the town.
Before I knew it, I was walking my way up the hill towards the asylum. I don't know what's so different about the building today but it seemed to be looming over you, watching you. I ignored the feeling and walked in. I was a bit early, it was 10 and my shift started at 11, but I wanted to check up on Jasmine and see how she was doing.
I walked out to the main area to talk to Jasmine but gasped at what I saw. The place was packed, and I don't mean it was a bit more busy than usual, no, there were people lining up out the door! I saw Jasmine giving the introduction to a group while another girl was leading a group out. I could hear talking upstairs indicating there was a group up there. Jasmine looked over at my shocked face and gave me a look to help.
I sprung into action and ran over to her, "What happened? Why is it so packed!" I asked her.
"I'll tell you why later, but could you work the front desk? We are really struggling here!" He pleaded. I agreed and went over to the front desk, taking the cash from groups coming in and answering questions. I also was logging how many people were coming in and out.
My night shift started but I still sat at the front desk since we all agreed to keep the Asylum for an extra hour since there were still so many people.
Finally we had to close doors and tell everyone who was still waiting that we'd be open tomorrow. After we all did a quick check to make sure there were no lingering guest in the building, we all collapsed in the employee's room.
"My god, what happened out there?" I asked, still confused why we had so much business.
"Ask her! She's the one responsible for this!" The female I saw earlier grunted, drinking some water. I realized there were two other workers with us as well, the rest being male.
"Wait who are you guys?" I questioned the girl and men. They just looked over at me,
"We're the weekend workers, you must be a weekday worker I assume? I'm Allea, those two over there are Marcus and Cooper. We all work the day shift during the weekend, even though three workers aren't needed. Well, until Sunday." Allea replied, the two boys waved before pulling out their phones and doing who knows what.
"Wait, who works the night shift?" I asked another question. She looked at me with a questioning look,
"You haven't met him? He's in the hospital right now, his name is Travis." She told me. I was baffled, he works every night?
"I know him, I work the night shift with him." She looked at me weirdly,
"He allows you to work the night shift with him? That's surprising. I can't tell you how many times I've offered to help just for him to decline. I'll have ask why he allowed a new worker to work the night shift before me. Anyways, what's your name?"
"I'm (Y/n). So, why was it so crowded?"
"That's my fault." Jasmine stated, raising her hand in guilt, "You know the video introduction to the Asylum?" She asked.
"Yeah, what about it?" Jasmine pulled out her phone and showed me what was on the screen. It was the video, I didn't understand what she was trying to show me until I looked at the views.
"How did you get 3 million views?!" I questioned, baffled she even got close to a million.
"Apparently there's these 2 famous Youtubers who made a video about Raspy Hill or something of the sorts? I forgot their channel names but I know one of them begins with Jack and the other starts with an 'M'" She said, pulling her phone back towards her and placing it into her pocket. "But anyways, there fans found the video and went haywire and spread it around causing more people to see it so now we've been getting a stampede of fans and those who are generally curious."
"Wow, that's... odd, but amazing." I told her. What a coincidence that two celebrities would use Raspy Hill for whatever they do. Maybe I'll check them out later.
We chatted a bit about stories of dealing with some of the guest until we all realized the time. I walked the group out before beginning my shift.
The Asylum was eerily quiet without Travis working with me tonight. I felt like I was being watched the whole time, as if something was breathing down my neck. I didn't feel as safe here as I usually would. My heart almost stopped when I remembered what happened that night with Travis. That things that attacked me was still here. I could feel the color go off my face, I wanted to run out this building right now but I couldn't, I was frozen. I couldn't move, or turn around to see if someone was really watching me. No, I was being absurd. Whoever had attacked us was probably some sicko who wanted to scare us. I finally forced myself to turn around but I saw nothing. I think I'd feel better I checked the whole building, show myself that there was no one here but me...
(3rd POV)
(Y/n) made their way up the stairs with shaky steps. They check every nook and cranny of hall B before making their way over to Hall C. They froze at the entrance, not wanting to enter the hall in fear of that demon appearing again but they knew if they didn't check, they'd be paranoid the rest of the night. They took slow steps into the entrance. Behind them was a hand that slowly reached out for them, unfortunately, (Y/n) had no clue what was about to happen. They went to turn the corner into Hall C when the hand grabbed the back of their shirt collar, yanking them back...

(We finally meet the weekend workers! Looks like they aren't as allusive as they used to be. Also we got more incite on how big Travis' fear of having others work the night shift really is. Also Mark and Jack exist in this universe?!? Also Mark and Jack have made Raspy Hill videos on their channels before if you want to check those out. Now there's one question for the next chapter, who was the one to grab you?)
