(Mark's Pov)

"Should we take them to the hospital?" Jack asked worryingly, pacing back and forth while biting his thumbnail. The sun was beginning to arise and the person we saved from our alter egos still hadn't woken up. We all took shift throughout the night to watch (Y/n) which it was currently Jack and my turn to watch them.

"What are we going to tell them? That a demon entered their mind and they won't wake up? They don't even know who we are. What if they woke up and thought we were Dark and Anti? We have to keep them here, for all of our safety." I chided Jack, he just gave me a look, "Sorry, I just don't know what to do! I thought we finally got rid of this problem and yet here we are, locked within it again. I-I just don't know what to do anymore!" I yelled, standing up from my chair which got knocked over. Jack's eyes softened at my outburst.

"We'll just have to make sure they're gone for sure this time. Maybe once they wake up we could get some answers. Who knows how long they've had to work the nightshift with those bastards, they must know something." Jack replied with a soft smile. I looked at him with a softened expression, calming down my breaths,

"Yeah, this time they'll be gone for sure." I smiled. Jack went to respond but a groan interrupted our conversation. We both looked over to see the person roll to their side, their face scrunched in pain. We froze in our place, intensely watching as they slowly sat up from their spot, one hand on their forehead. They stayed like that for awhile before they finally opened their eyes looking around the room,

"Where am I?" They muttered, obviously not seeing either of us. They fluttered their eyes a bit more before they were fully opened. Their eyes landed on me as they widened, "Who are you?!" They squeaked, pulling the blankets up to their chin in fear.

"I'm Mark and over there is my friend Jack," I pointed to Jack and their eyes followed, widening even more at the sight of him, "I know you're thinking we are Dark and Anti but that's not who we are." I tried to explain while also trying to keep them from screaming bloody murder and running out. Their gaze went from me to Jack a few times...

(Your POV)

I wasn't sure on whether to believe them or not, I mean, why would they look so similar. I looked over at the man who claimed he was Mark. He didn't wear anything elegant that I would expect the man who I assume was Dark would wear. His overall posture didn;t fit the stiff one Dark had either. I glanced over at the Anti look a like. His hair was lighter than Anti's but the key feature was he had no gauges. I took a deep breath, I guess they're telling the truth, how else would he be able to hide his gauges?

"Alright, I believe you, but why do you look so similar to those demons?" I asked. It was obvious to me now that Dark wasn't there to help me, I just wish I saw it sooner.

"Well, that would be a long story but let's just say we accidentally created them. We both thought we banished them but obviously from our encounter last night that's not the case." Mark tried to explain. Even though I was confused by the small explanation I didn't care at the moment as my headache worsened.

"Do you happen to have any Ibuprofen? I have a killer headache." I said, going way off-topic but to be honest I didn't really want to think about those demons at the moment. The Anti lookalike quickly bounced into action, rushing over to a bag and pulling out a bottle filled with them. He then filled up a glass and handed me 2 of the pills and a glass of water. I thanked him before gulping down the pill with the water. I slumped back onto the pillow behind me and we all stayed in the same position for a while, not sure what to do or say until Jack spoke up,

"Sorry you had to go through that, they're all talk and no bite though, they were just trying to give ya a little scare." He explained and I let out a bitter chuckle.

"All talk and no bite? Tell that to Travis." I stated, obviously these men did not know what they were up against. I looked at them to see them both giving me a confused expression before Mark's expression changed as if he realized something.

"Dark and Anti did that to the boy?" He asked shakily, not wanting to hear the truth,

"Well to be quite honest I'm not sure but after seeing what I saw last night I have no doubt Anti wasn't involved in some way." I told him truthfully, "We could always go visit him and see for ourselves. Whether or not he'll be awake I don't know." The two men pondered upon my words.

"Once our other two friends wake up we'd like to visit him though I do have a few questions for you." Mark replied, "Do you have any information about Dark, Anti, or Wilford?" He asked.

"Well I've only had 1 encounter with Dark and Anti and I haven't seen Wilford yet." I thought a bit to see if any of the other workers would know. My first thought was Travis and my eyes lit up, "Though I bet you... Travis would know. He's worked there ever since he graduated high school..." My enthusiasm changed to a solemn tone. Who knows how long Travis had to deal with those demons. Dark told me he was broken down... Tears swelled up in my eyes, he has been dealing with all this suffering for so long, why hadn't he tried to reach out to anybody?

I suddenly felt arms wrap around me like a hug, "Hey, it's alright. We'll be able to help your friend. We'll make sure none of you will ever see those demons again." The deep voice belonging to Mark said. His hug instantly calmed me down. I wiped my tears away,

"Are you sure we'll be able to help Travis?"

"Absolutely"
