Chapter 6

Skyler's POV

It had been a long day and the sun was beaming down, me and Nat met at the front go then school like we always did when we where about to go home, but this time we waited for Calum and Luke to join us, they had decided to walk with us to the convenient store that was located at then end of our road. 

"So how'd the audition go?"  I questioned bumping shoulders with Luke. "Don't act like you didn't have your ear pressed against the door" I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear trying to think of an excuse.  "You can't prove that!" Natalie said defensively.  "I can vouch for Luke on that one!" We all broke out laughing. 

"Woah you guys live really close to the school." Calum said.  "Yup… a blessing and a curse" I said dramatically "And conveniently close to each other" Luke pointed out. 

"Also a blessing and a curse" Nat teased. I pulled a face at her making her laugh again. "What about you guys?" I asked kicking the pavement.  "What about us?" Luke replied "Do you live near each other?" Nat finished "Not as close as you guys do… couple streets over." I nodded messing with the straps of my back pack again. 

When we arrived at the ice cream place I instantly notice Mallroy and a pack of girls at the check out.  "Look who's here" I mumbled "Wh-" Nat's question was cut short by an obnoxious squeal "oh." "Luke, Calum! You came!!" She said wrapping an am around each one of them. I looked at Nat confused.

"Come on I saved a seat for you." she said grabbing her hands and pulling them towards the crowed that where now sitting at a clump of tables that where pushed together  Natalie looked like she was about to say something but I shrugged grabbing her hand and pulling her into the store. "What is that girls problem! Seriously I hope-" "don't stoop to her level it's not that big a deal common lets go home."  I interrupted she pouted storming out of the store, I rolled my eyes. What. A. Drama. Queen I thought grabbing our slushies and following her out the door. 

Natalie's POV

Mallory doesn't ever get it does she?  She's always trying to get me and Sky jealous (mostly me).  She acts like she's top dog around here but she doesn't get that NO ONE even is anywhere close to LIKING her.

I had gone off and I had ran ahead home slamming the door.  I could imagine what lecture my mom would give if she heard that, but she was still at work thankfully.  I then ran up the stairs slamming my bedroom door as loud as I possibly could.

I slumped onto my bed and laid there, not even caring that I left Sky at the convenience store alone.  But she'd know where I'd be.  I sat there and sure enough, a couple minutes later my doorbell rang and I went down to answer it.  Next thing I knew Sky was holding my blue raspberry slushy in her hand, and her cherry one too.

"Thanks." I said grabbing it from her, as we headed to my room, beginning to drink the ice cold artificial flavouring.  "No problem." Sky said sitting crossed legged on the floor.  

"Do you think Mallory is trying to ruin our life though?" I asked taking a sip and Sky shrugged and replied "To be honest, Luke and Calum are no where near to liking her." "But it just BUGS me that she's constantly trying to flirt with them!" I sighed falling back onto my bed.

"Nat, she isn't worth it." Sky said, and I then sighed and said "Yeah I know."  I then sat up and said "Wait do you think the guys have left yet?" "Huh?" Sky said giving me a confused look.

"Calum and Luke.  They said they lived near us." I said and Sky caught onto my vibe nodding "Get the binoculars out."

We had this routine of being by my window, because it looked out to the front of the street and watching hot guys pass by.  Usually we turned out unsuccessful.  But this time, I could feel like success would be ours.

We sat there and constantly looked out on the street.  And that's when I saw the boys.  I started hitting Sky who was busy scrolling Tumblr for something.  "Sky….Sky!  SKY!!!!!" I exclaimed nearly squealing.

"What right do you have to interrupt my tumblring time?" she asked and I then handed her the binoculars and she looked out the window and said "Oh my god." 

I bit my lip trying to hold back the fangirling part of me.  "They're…they're…." she started and I said "Yup.  They're shirtless."
