A/N: Hey! I haven't been posting in a while cause school. Now I have to review for college entrance exams... BUT! I'm gonna do my best to post a new chapter of this book every Saturday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday! This is until I can prepare the chapters for the next book I'm gonna do! Hope you like this! and I hope someone actually sees this book...
and clarification (yes, I keep changing writing styles), the kind of storytelling that I'm doing for this is like I'm telling you the story right after it happened so there is still the concept of the mystery of the future for the character....
Everyone seems so hyped up about this performance. I don't get why... I find acting fun but this is so different... We don't even have lines... I've danced before, but not like this. It's more head banging mixed with runway walks than dancing. We barely had time to prepare. Did the core just tell us late or is the school just like this, giving performances within 1 week?
They said wear something that would suit your character, but THEY DIDN'T GIVE ME A CHARACTER IN THE FIRST PLACE! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO JUST COME UP WITH SOMETHING IF YOU DIDN'T EVEN TEACH US MUCH ABOUT WHAT WE'RE DOING!!!
They said go as crazy as possible with the costumes, so I pulled together an outfit that I thought met their expectations. Gold strapless dress from my last play (Seussical), yellow-ish t-shirt underneath cause the school doesn't allow us to show our shoulders, black leggings cause the school doesn't allow us to show our knees and light pink heels. I came the next day 1 hour early for school because they said we needed the practice. I came to school in uniform and tried looking for everyone. I searched around the school for 20 minutes and I still can't find anybody. Turns out, most people were late and weren't able to go to the practice, so they said wear your costumes by lunch and we'll practice. Is there anyone even leading this group?
By the time lunch came, I changed into my outfit. We had to go to a secluded place so no one would see our costumes. I came up the stairs toward the gym and I might have been overdressed. Most of them were wearing just very sparkly outfits. Their outfits weren't as over the top as mine... Their outfits look like what they would wear normally. They said as crazy as possible... Why does it seem like everyone talked about something without me?
I didn't really feel like dancing that day, if you could call that dancing. We went onstage and I did my best to pretend to be enjoying the performance, that should at least merit something. That's more acting than I've done in the performance. After that, I really hope they give me more substantial things to do over the course of the year....
