Good Concept, Kinda Sloppy Execution

After some brainstorming, we decided on a puppet theme. It starts out with kids playing with they toys and moving them as if the toys were actually moving. Then when the kids get older, they have life size versions of their old toys that they now control. They fight with each other. After a while, instead of the puppet masters controlling their "toys", the toys start controlling them, so the skit is left with the masters getting controlled by their own puppets. I thought the idea was great and it was kinda scary and creepy. Sad thing was we didn't do much for the 2 weeks but pick out a song. 1 week before the performance, the group leaders start calling for practices. I was assigned to be a creepy plush toy because of my tiny size compared to everyone else. I actually thought that the skit was supposed to be performed in dance form, but no. We were just supposed to just move without speaking, but with full facial expressions. We had to cram another performance. We're going into this performance, in my opinion, fully unprepared. We didn't have time to sync our performance with the music. I don't know how this performance is going to go at all.
