~Grade 9- Phoenix Classroom~
I usually sit in the front and in the middle when I get to pick my own seat. It makes it easier for me to take notes when I'm near the board. It also helps the teacher see me better when I raise my hand. This morning, our adviser gave us our official seating arrangement. Good thing she didn't move my seat, but she did move Clair beside me. She's a pretty good singer. The teachers have picked her to sing before, so I thought that she would be a good partner. Good thing, she agreed. I thought that maybe going with someone can increase my chances of getting back in. They haven't seen anything substantial from me last year and might dismiss my audition if I don't do anything worth seeing. Maybe they just let people in to any club they say is their first choice on their first year, then it gets harder as the years go by. So, having a partner is the best idea so far. I know I want to do something relating to musicals because both Claire and I love musicals. Kate is already set on performing by herself. She apparently performing a sonnet. I know what a sonnet is. I'm just kinda skeptical. Honestly, I've always found sonnets kinda boring, maybe she can pull it off.
