The only problem with faster than light, travel. Is the unbearable darkness.

I finally had made it onto one of the new light ships. I was going to live my dreams in the stars. I was so excited. I made a grave mistake. The ship was said to be safe, but much like the ship Titanic it sunk.
I am writing this as my last testament. The darkness is cold and forever. There is no escape for me. Just heed this warning, don't send anymore light ships. The darkness is not the only thing to fear out here. I hear the wails of the dark creatures , they hunger and they have just found there meal.
