"I appreciate the welcome," the alien said, " But I must ask again, 'where are the dodos" my son will never shut up unless I come home with a pet dodo."
"I can't believe you guys are real," Gerald yelled out ," Welcome." Bowing low as the space ship opened .
"I appreciate the welcome," the aliens said warmly and quickly," But I must ask again, ' where are the dodo's my son will never shut up unless I come home with a pet dodo."
"Well Im sorry to say dude, but dodos aren't t alive any more," Gerald said with a grimace.
"What," the alien said surprised.
"They were wiped out long time ago," Gerald said.
"Oh," the alien said ," well I tried."
"Sorry dude," Gerald said.
"No harm done," the alien said as he waved good bye as he got back in his ship and flew back to his planet.
