You've just uncovered the sealed tomb of an ancient, powerful, banished demon of chaos. You've also "accidentally" destroyed the magical seal that confined him. You then suddenly hear an upbeat voice saying, " Oh goody a visitor! Could I interest you in a cup of tea?"
"Oh, shoot," I thought as the rumbling intensified , dust crumbled from the ceiling as the seal broke.
As the dust settled, a voice, a high and squeaky, pierced the ferry silence.
"Oh goody a visitor! Could I interest you in a cup of tea?"
"Hello, " I said curiously as I stuck my head around the pillar.
"Come, come a visitor," he smiled excitedly gesturing to a golden table with golden chairs.
"You seem cheery," I said hesitantly as I gaped at the amount of food at the table, "for a world destroying , chaos bring demon."
"Well, I am not a chaos demon," he said his wide smile, lessening a tad as he looked directly at me, "I am a death deliverer." I immediately stop eating the food, my eyes widening.
"We are death demons, made to ease the person into eternity," the demon said sadly.
"Am I dead, "I asked fearfully.
"Killed by a rock as the seal broke," the demon said sadly, "I am sorry."
"I am dead," I said with disbelief.
"But now you can have tea with me FOREVER. Or coffee if you prefer," he smiled , "crumpet."
"Yes , please," I said as I took it. If I'm dead at least its with the most cheery demon I have ever met.
