" You blew up half the city!" "I regret nothing."

"Mark," I yelled as I came to the lair, furiously ," What the hell did you do!" 

" I fixed the problem," he said as he came out of his room, still wearing his camoflouge suit. 

"You blew up half the city," I yelled at him. 

"That was the only way," he said," The virus was already spreading . If I didn't do it everyone would have died." 

"Says who," I said.

"  Says the scientist who made it," a stranger's voice said from the shadows. 

"You made the virus," I asked skeptically. 

"Yes," the man said ," I thought it was a way to cure all the worlds diseases. To stop death.  but instead I caused death. "

"You didn't do that! He did," I said pointing towards Mark with venom in my voice.

"He did what I asked him to," the mysterious man said, " I couldn't live with myself if that virus had spread. "

"How was killing thousands of people making it better," I asked my voice rising steadily.

"That virus somehow mutated into something similar to the black plague, but worse. It would start off slowly , sore throat, horrible coughs then it would begin to escalate. In the end you would have mass tumors and  infections in the lungs, stomach and skin. You wouldn't be able to eat or drink anything. You would die of starvation and dehydration. If you didn't die from the pain first. Do you think that death is better than an explosion, " he preached vehemently.

" You should of been more careful," I said quietly, "In my book you are both to blame."  I gathered up my things and walked out of the lair never looking back . I was scared of what the future will hold, because the mysterious man was right, the virus is a lot more scary than an explosion. Is this the end of the world? Is there a way back from this?
