Two young boys swore an oath to defeat evil and fight for the light. Many years later they stand before one another, one a Paladin of the Light, the other a Harbinger of Evil.

I stood in front of my brother in arms knowing I had to defeat him . We use to swear we would fight for the light , now we were on opposite sides. I know what I must do but that doesn't mean I'm going to like it.
" so I guess we are going to do This, " I said hesitantly.
" I guess so" he said just as hesitantly.
He drew his sowaed and I drew mine and we began to fight.
I tried talking to him but he wouldn't respond. The fighting stop after I stabbed him through the shoulder. He gasped and fell onto his knees.
I pulled out my akward and pointed it towards his throat.
He grinned and laughed and grabbed my akward and thrust it into his own neck.
And that was when I knew that he was poisoned with the insanity poision, as he lay dying in my arms. So he was a hero in the end. And I still think of him as a brother to this day.
