A water gun fight between children, told as if it was a horrific war story.
We were ready. I looked at each of my fellow warriors in the eye. This may be are last night together but we will go down fighting! We cocked are guns and stepped out from are cover to run to the next but they ambushed us. We had no chance of surviving. I was able to get two in the chest before I was shot from behind. I fell onto the ground my vision going blurry as I saw one by one by comrades fall. I closed my eyes as I felt more spray of the water on my face. I smiled as it felt great to finally feel cool on this hot summer day.
