You see all animals (humans are an animal as well) don't want to be in pain, they run away from pain, they scream. They want to live just like you and I. Yet we still kill non-human animals, we don't give them a choice.

Killing is not a personal choice, there is an unwilling victim involved. Replace the animal with a human, is it a cannibals personal choice to kill/eat another human?

Some other comparisons you may see vegans commonly make are with rapists and murderers. There is victims involved who don't have a choice in the matter.
