Part 2:
While shopping at Rodeo Drive, I bought a bunch of new clothes and nice summer dresses because i had so many sweaters and shirts that i was set for cold weather. While walking down the street with a billion of shopping bags in both set of hands, a girl was failing at passing out fliers for a community outreach service. I felt compelled to help so I did. I told the girl i can help and she took my bags and as my bubbly personality, i started handing them out. In no rush, they were all gone.
I asked for her name while she gave me back my bags.
“I’m Isabelle, but call me Izzy.” She seemed nice and sweet, a party girl was dying to come out as she tried to hide. “What’s yours?” She asked.
“I’m Thalia.” I said with a smile.
“What brings you out here in LA? Helping random girls trying to pass out fliers?” She said with a laugh.
“Haha, no, but i guess i did today. I just got here today, i’m now a resident of LA. Well, searching for one.” I let out a giggle as I bumped into some guy.
Reflexes made me hold on to his shoulders and they were buff, i mean really buff. I looked up and studied his face. It seems that he was doing the same and i was enjoying this moment. It was like no one else existed and all I thought of was just the amount of butterflies I have in my tummy. Izzy grabbed my bags and nudged me and then the stranger and I quickly snapped back to reality.
He was different.
Josh’s POV:
I got into my car and drove, just drove. That fight with Rachel really made me finally end it with her. She pushed my buttons and I had enough. I Noticed it was only 2:45 and the sun was shining high above as if it 8 AM. I decided to get my mom something since she was going back home today, she was at late lunch with friends so this was perfect timing.
I parked in the busy street of LA and I walked down Rodeo Drive thinking how much fun that celebrity host party would be tonight, Rachel is most likely on the flight back home already, I can do whatever I want, that is until my mom gets on her flight in 3 hours.
Caught in my own thoughts, I bumped into someone. I looked at the most beautiful face I had ever seen. I forgot about everything; shopping, Rachel, time and my own name. She had me in a trance with her dark brown eyes, I studied her face; eyes, cute button nose, perfect shaped lips, and naturally red cheeks. She was beyond beautiful. I forgot about all my problems. I guess there is such thing as love at first sight- or bump. This is the beginning of my life, I feel it.
