part twenty-nine.

Part 29, Thalia's POV:

After Josh had proposed, we ran away. We went back to Jennifer's and drove back to his house in his car. I didn't get to say bye since she's auditioning for a movie. We walked in the house completely dark. I hear shuffling in between the couches and flip the light on and out comes a bunch of people!

The cast of THG, Cast of Victorious, Miley Cyrus, AnnaSophia Robb, Bailee Madison, and so many of Josh's friends! I glance across the faces of eagerly waiting sea of friends. I look for the two most important faces I need to see: my mom and dad. I see my little brothers running up to me with my parents and Josh's parents behind them. My face felt like it was gonna explode with my big smile eating it away! My mom pulls me into her arms as I missed the smell of her sweet honey hair and small height. 

My dad hugs me right after and holds me as tight as he's ever done before. 

"I love you, young lady." We let go of the hug and smile at what my father said.

I welcome everyone else as Josh does so with everyone else. Everyone asks to see the ring but I haven't seen it, well examine. Josh can propose to me with e rubber ban to be my engagement ring and I couldn't care less. 

"That thing adds 5 pounds!" Jennifer exclaimed laughing and smiling at me.

"It's perfect!" Amandla looked pleased with herself.

"Did you help choose it?" I ask, looking suspiciously at her.

"Yes! And Alexander! Including your parents!" She stated.

"Thanks baby girl." I give her a hug and then walk to everyone else, dying to see the engagement ring. 

"It's beautiful!" "Great choice, Josh." "Perfect ring, Thalia!"

I'm tired of showing the ring to a lot of people but I would feel rude if I just said "HEY! Look at me! I got a 2,000$ Engagement ring!" C'mon, I'm not like that. 

I glance across the room and I see Josh talking to his friends. I look at how happy he is, the smile, laugh, energy is so beautiful. He brightens a room, and my life as well as anyone else he meets. I'm so grateful to have him in my life. 

Josh turns and sees my glance, while I just smile and he nods so I give him a thumbs up. After a few more minutes of talking to everyone else, I pull Josh aside.

"Josh, how did everyone know?" I ask.

"I had to ask your parents first. I wouldn't do this without their consent. Though we're having a baby and everyone in this room is clueless." Josh said, effortlessly.

"Right, when are we gonna break the news?" I ask.

Josh puts his hand in mines, "We can tell them now, if you want. I was hoping we could. I don't want you to be far along and no one knows." 

"Then let's do this. Promise, you won't let me do this all alone?" He takes my hand up to his lps and kisses it softly.

"I won't let you, this I swear."

He smiles and leads me to the center of the room and gets the attention of everyone.

"Hello everyone!" Josh yells.

"Hi everyone," I start. "I would like to thank everyone here just for coming. I didn't expect this! You're all the best people I could ever embark on this journey. So, we have some news we'd like to share with everyone, besides the engagement, Josh, would you like to start?" I look at Josh and he takes my right hand in his left then opens his mouth.

"Everyone knows that I'm 10 feet deep in love with Thalia and couldn't thank her enough to bringing in the happiness I have now. I want to thank everyone else for coming too, you guys have been so supportive," Josh looks down at me and smiles as I smile back. I look at my parents face, Josh's parents face, my siblings, friends, and everyone else in between. I brace myself for the news to spill and I squeeze Josh's hand.

"Thalia is pregnant." Josh smiles and it goes quiet for like a second then everyone cheers in ecstatic tones.

 Everyone is happy and stuff, pulling Josh away and I walk to my parents.

"Pregnant and engaged?Thalia, I thought we taught you to wait." My mom says quietly yet sternly.

"Why? I'm going to go to college still, besides you were younger than me and you're still successful for a mother at 16." I reply, bitterly.

"We're happy for you, darling, we just wished you would've waited." Dad sighs.

"I'm not sorry. It was my decision as much as Josh. I don't mean to disappoint you, the two most important people in my life, but I need your love more than anything. Please don't abandon me."

I'm biting my tongue to keep back the mouthful I really wanna say.

"We're always here for you, baby. Even if you have one of your own at this age." My dad says.

"Josh hasn't done nothing but support me, even through those two months, he wanted to help but I just pushed him away. Don't push me away, mommy." I say as she quickly pulls me in and I tear up yet stop when I hear her sniffle.

We release and she tells me, "I can't wait to find out if it's a boy or girl."

I smile at her and nod at the same time. "I love you guys, so much."

Dad looks towards the way Josh and his parents are coming.

"Thalia! We're so happy for you both! Congratulations!" 

"We couldn't ask for a better daughter in law or woman to carry our grandchild. Thank you for taking care of my baby boy." She looks at Josh and glances back at me, smiling.

As we're hugging, I feel dizzy then feel my shoulder slam the ground hard. As my eyes shut, I see Josh screaming for me to wake up yet I can't bring myself to do so. What's happening to me?
