Part 16, Thalia's POV:

Yesterday was the last day we'd be in Australia and my last visit there. Josh and I took the plane two hours later than everyone else's. We decided we should go to the beach as our last day here.

"You know, I learned a lot about you but I still don't know your favorite color." Josh insisted I choose one.

"Um... salmon pink like a peachy pink."

"Mines is green or red." We spent the day at the beach playing would you rather and stating how our lives have been and how it's gonna be when we get back home.

We go to the airport and take first class. We get there at 4 PM the next day. We were bombarded by paparazzi and some of them started asking me stupid questions.

One, however, yelled at me like a mother would.

"How was the sex? Are you gonna name the baby Josh Jr.?"

I was shocked but tried to ignore them until someone hit me in the head with a camera, Josh was furious and threw a fit.

"Can you guys just fucking leave already? Seriously, back the hell away. Give us some fucking air, will ya!" Josh was cursing up a storm I thought he was gonna be mad at me.

"Are you okay, babe?" Josh rubs my head as we're still trying to get through.

"Aw, they call each other babes!" One papa exclaimed.

Of course we do, I think. We are a couple.

I ignore them and rub my head over the throbbing pain from a camera hitting me in the head.

Josh's POV:

The paparazzi are getting worse every time I'm seen with Thalia. They almost trampled her back in Australia, hit her in the head with a camera, and now photoshopping her saying she's pregnant. This causes controversy for my fans. I'm not mad at anyone-

I cut my thinking when I hear a thump and Thalia is on the floor, unconscious.

Two days later and we're still in the hospital. Thalia passed out in the airport and we rushed her here. I haven't left her side once but she hasn't woke up once either. I have slept a total of two hours.

What caused her to pass out? The camera? Claustrophobia? I think the worst things possible.

The doctor walks in to finally notify me what's going on.

"Is she OK?" I impatiently ask the doctor.

"Mr. Hutcherson," He takes forever to talk. "Ms. Grace has suffered an early miscarriage."

These words hit me like a dozen bricks. My throat tightens, my eyes fill, and I can feel the floor disappearing from underneath my feet.

"Mr. Hutcherson, Mr. Hutcherson." I can't even hear him he has to repeat himself.

"It was a few days into the pregnancy but we didn't find anything wrong, like alcohol, in her system.

She drank last night. She was on birth control. Why? How? I think of the possibilities.

"Doc, what caused this then?"

"Poor body fluids. That's why she fainted."

"She was on birth control she said." I put up an argument.

"She was taking some but it wasn't for her hormonic changes and she wasn't treating her body system right either. I'm sorry, Mr. Hutcherson."

He walks out and I start to cry. How am I supposed to tell Thalia she lost a baby after our first time having sex? Should I tell her? Or will they?

Three days pass and I haven't gotten the thought out of my head and prepared myself to tell her, but the right way. I'm holding her hand as her mother walks in for the 500th time in an hour.

"How is she?"

"Same. Did he tell you?"

"Yes. I thought she was gonna wait. Josh, I am not happy about this, now imagine how she's gonna react when she finds out."

"I'm sorry, Mrs. Grace but you know I would've given my baby the world. I'd drop everything for the baby because it's mine. I... I love your daughter and I'm grateful I met her. Just please, let me tell her. It was my baby too."

Her eyes filled and I gave her a hug. She lost her first grandbaby.

"Josh, you know Mr. Grace & I appreciate how you take care of our daughter."

Mr. Grace interrupted and I expected a mouthful.

"Josh, we never thought this could happen. She has a poor immune system since her early years and we almost lost her. We were in the exact position you are in now. I almost lost my babygirl. And we suffered a miscarriage before her and now we understand why-- She was saved to meet you."

Mr. Grace hugs me and tries to comfort me as they were never comforted when this happened to them.

After, they start walking out the room and we turn back as heard a moan escape her lips.

We all turn back and she's awake!

"Mom, dad, Josh?" I hear her beautiful voice say. Oh how I missed her voice.

"We're here, babygirl." Her dad reaches for her hand and gives her a hug and kiss on her forehead.

"Oh baby, I thought you were never gonna wake up." With eyes filled, her mom hugs her tightly.

"I was so worried." I speak out.

"We'll leave you two alone." Mr. Grace informs us and walks out with her mom.

"I thought I'd never hear or see you again." I can't control my tears as she holds me, something I've yearned for.

"I'd never leave you. You know that." She tells me.

The doctor walks in and I imply him that I must tell her, but not right now.

"You can leave by tomorrow morning, Thalia. Good to see you up again."

"Thank you, doctor. Can I leave sooner? Please, It's 6 PM, do you think I can leave sooner?"

"Um, you can but be sure to keep someone near incase of weak knees or dizziness may occur. You can check her out, Mr. Hutcherson."

"Thanks." We reply and he heads out.

"Are you sure? I can sleep here again, it's fine."

"Again? What do you mean again? How long have I been out?"

"About a week."

"Why?"

I swallow and try to ignore the question with pulling her bag out the closet with fresh clothes.

"Change here and I'll check you out." I kiss her, leaving her to change alone with a full head of thoughts.

I come in a few minutes later and she's dressed in sweats with my shirt and flip flops.

"Ready?"

"Ready."

We walk out and her parents help me get her to my car.

"We tracked down your stuff at the hotel when you first came and you're all unpacked at Josh's house." Her mom informs us. I guess that's why my mom and her were asking for the house keys.

"We'll drop you off but we have to go back home on a plane which takes flight in two hours."

"Ok. Why did this happen?"

We all try to ignore it and put her in the car and now it's just me and her with a 30 minute drive home.

Her curiosity builds and she questions me again 10 minutes into the drive.

"Why won't you tell me?" Her voice raises with anger.

I feel my throat tighten and eyes fill and I grab her hand and give it a squeeze, she looks at me with worried eyes.

"You suffered a miscarriage."
