It has been two months since the battle ended. The new school therapists (four of them) have been busy as hell. So have I, between putting myself back together, and helping everyone else do the same.
Daring has been in a coma all this time. Although, yesterday he was able to have a subconscious conversation with Lizzie and I. The doctors are excited about his responsiveness, they think he will wake soon.
The very last of the formal funerals took place about three weeks ago. There was about 344 dead in fact. I attended the funerals for every one.
Baba Yaga has been put in jail for her help in what happened. I've been digging through her office and house, looking for answers I may never find.
That's what I was doing in fact, when I came across a small mirror, a little bigger than my head, hidden away in some dusty corner.
Quickly, I tear through Yaga's books for the complicated spell I knew would bring me what I missed the most.
Reflect atpakaļ. Un atspoguļot. Un atspoguļo no spoguļa balvu, lai uzvarētu.
"Dexter?" She whispered cautiously.
I collected her in my arm and felt her hands land on my shoulders as we both sobbed with joy?
"It's you it's really you."
"It's been so long."
"I thought I'd never see your face!"
I peppered her face with kisses as she laughed in joy. Somehow Baba Yaga's mirror was a loophole or cheat or something that I didn't really care about. All that mattered was her, Raven Queen.

Seven Years Later
This is probably the worst decision I have ever had to make.
"Sir, what do you think about this ring over here? It is nice, yes? What is her finger size?"
From behind me, Daring laughed. I groaned.
"I don't know, I just don't know!"
"Well, sir, if you'd let me just led you over here we have some of our finest options."
"And the most expensive!" Daring chuckled.
I scanned them all quickly, though none really drew my eye.
Until, of course, Daring pointed out a small display in the corner, with a row of the spunkier, more colorful rings.
They just screamed Raven.
One was gorgeous and light pink with a silver band, another deep red and gold, a third teal and shining bronze.
"Decisions, decisions little bro."
But then I saw it. Amethyst and white gold. Different and graceful.
"That's the one." I said immediately. The shopkeeper smiled.
Total price? $3,399
She's worth every penny and more.
The man handed me the iconic black velvet box and then I dragged Daring to his car.
"Drive!"
"Relax bro, we've got time to be there."
"Drive!"
"Okay, okay!"
I practically ran through the halls of EAH, now empty of students on Saturday. I was so nervous I didn't even feel nostalgic, I just focused on getting there.
The abandoned classroom where she had sat beside me, soaking wet, all those years ago.
Inside, she was interrogating Madrid on her strange choice of setting.
She turned and saw me.
I dropped to one knee.
I didn't even have time to speak when she answered.
"Yes!"

The End.
