Chap 2. (Dex)

When she was gone I pulled the picture of her with her friends put of my pocket for on last glance, then put it back and went to find my friends. It didn't take me long, Sparrow's constant guitar solos are hard to ignore.
"Hey Dexter. Where were you?" Hunter asked.
"Oh, um, I was just you know.." My sentence trailed off.
"Why can't jut just TELL US!!!" Sparrow sang.
"Um, I was just hanging out alone in a classroom looking at some photos when this girl I like walked in. So she hung out for a while and we talked." I felt my face get hot.
Daring laughed one of his trademark laughs.
"Who was it? Not Briar right, RIGHT?" Hopper grabbed my shoulders and shook me.
"Um, no actually, not Briar. Why do you care?"
He blushed. "No-no RIBBIT!" He turned into a frog on the spot.
"If not Briar than who?!" Daring asked his usual calm replaced by eagerness.
"Um I um well um..."
"Why can't you tells us we're YOUR BEST FRIENDS!" Sparrow shouted/sang.
"Raven Queen." I mumbled.
"WHAAT?!?!" Daring screamed. "You can't-!"
"Oh please, like I haven't seen you mooning over Lizzie Hearts." I cut him off.
His eyes nearly exploded off his face.
"How did you know?" He managed to ask.
"It was obvious. Apples been crying about it for weeks. And didn't you notice a happier Liz?"
"Oh." He said after a while.
"aWKWARD" Sparrow sang.
Hunter burst out laughing.
"So wait that means two of us have girlfriends, and one has a crush. Didn't we used to make bets on who would be the first?"
"Yea and we all agreed it was Daring!" I laughed.
We all thought for a moment before we changed the subject.
"Ever After Day is coming soon!" Hunter said.

"I can't wait ! Did you know EAH is having a ball to spellabrate? I'm totally gonna ask- uh NeVeRmInD!" Sparrow sang.
I was about to ask who when Apple, Cerise, and Maddie burst through the doors yelling for help.
"What is it? Where's Raven??"
They just looked at me. Finally Apple spoke.
"They took her, we- we tried to stop them but she's gone."

Wow. Chapter 2 and already I'm twisting the plot.
