Chap 5 (Dex)

I knew I had to tell someone about Raven. I can't keep that much sadness inside forever. So naturally I went to the only person I could trust. Daring.
"Hey Dexter. What's up? You look- sad" he said.
It would surprise most people to know that Daring was actually a great brother when he got over his arrogance. Once, in Mid-Book School, lots of kids were making fun of me for having glasses. Daring stood up for me and was an inch away from slicing up those kids with his sword before the teacher interfered.
"It's-it's Raven." I managed before hurrying past him into his room so no one would see me cry.
I say down on Darings bed and he sat next to me.
"Explain." He said.
And so I did. I told him about everything, leading up to the mirror vision of Raven.
He stayed quiet for a moment, then gave me a hug. I knew the protocol, I was never to speak of it, but Daring always knew how to calm me down in times of trouble. He just doesn't in front of people.
"There's only one thing to do then." He said finally letting go.
"What?" I asked.
"Save her. It's a good thing we're Charmings."
My jaw nearly fell off my face.
Daring calmly reached out and closed it.
"There is no possible way we can-"
I was cut off by a knock on the door.
"Oh Dexter! Apple said you were here." Said Ravens voice.
Like a mind-washed slave I stood up and walked over to the door to find- someone who could pass for Raven, who wasn't Raven.
My phone buzzed, it was a hext from Apple.
