Chapter 13

I carried Cerise's body around the school to the courtyard where the battle was happening. Some students who noticed stared in shock for a moment then with out missing a beat attacked the enemy harder. They didn't know that she was the enemy, I had no intention of telling them except one, one who deserved to know. I watched as Sparrow defeated an enemy with a fire that was fueled by loss. I pulled him aside and set Cerise at his feet.

"You can't tell anyone, ok?" I said.

"Ok, what is it?"

"She was the spy."

I left him and went into the woods to bury Cerise somewhere safe, somewhere where she could be in comfort, and shadows. Somewhere where her parents could find her. I buried her at the foot of a weeping willow. I could almost make out her ghost pushing her hood down and nodding at me, blurring with the shadows. Forever sheltered by the leaves.

I turned away and felt dizzy. The world spun and I tipped over, everything was black.

The black faded and I saw a tree in the distance. Raven was in a spectacular ball gown walking around it singing.

"Are you, are you coming to the tree

They strung up a man they say who murdered three

Strange things did happen here, no stranger would it be-"

"Raven!" I shouted.

"Dex!" she put a gloved hand over her heart.

"The tree, Dex! There's a note that tells how to defeat Nevar!"

"Really?" I said "That's great."

I picked her up and swung her around. She giggled then stopped abruptly.

"It will be hard Dex you may have to sacrifice something"

"Like what, what could I possibly need when I have you?"

She bit her lip sighing "If only we could stay here in this dream forever."

I almost asked why we couldn't but I stopped myself. I knew why.

I looked up at the twilight sky "I love you Raven, I have for a long time."

She put her hand on my cheek, "You are so so brave Dex, I love you. Don't forget that, ever. Even when I'm. When I'm-" she sighed, frusterated.

"Never forget me my love." she waved goodbye as she started to fade.

"No, Raven! Please explain!" I at up in real life.

The note was indeed inside the tree. It seemed old.

In Case Of Evil Queen Attack,

1. Destroy the Storybook of Legends, it's what she's most certainly after.

2. Destroy all mirrors

3.Find the weakness of her power, use it

It was so easy for once I didn't notice that I had to destroy my only link to Raven and that I didn't know her weakneass.

For once in 26 hours I was happy.
