Chapter 11

Dexter

"Yes, yes Rav it's me!" I nearly cried with joy, after all that's happened she was the one I needed to see.

"Look I have to tell you something," We said at the same time. "I love you!"

My mouth fell to the ground. "You-You-"

She smiled knowingly. "Yes Dexter Charming, I. Love. You."

I nearly screamed with joy. "So wait, does that mean we're-?"

"Dating" she confirmed.
I smiled for the first time in a few hours. "Great, but uh there's something going on- "

"Nevar." Raven said darkly, "She's already, erm... talked to me." 

She had? 

"And, um, I know about Daring, and Baba Yaga, and Duchess." she said shyly.

"Oh, well I was wondering if you knew anything"

"I do, I know who the spy is it's-" sh looked as if someone betrayed her, "Ce-"

Someone screamed and I dropped the mirror, it fizzed into dust, Faybelle's magic was too much for it.

"She's making her own bridge!"

I turned. Nevar was makeing a bridge out of- 

"Is that bones?"

She stepped gracfully across it, her army behind her.

"Go." She said pointing at us.

They charged. I yelled and we ran at them too. Swords and knives clshed. Holly Cupid, and Briar fired arrows. Kitty used her claws and Maddie floated around dumping 10000 degree piping hot tea on heads.

An arrow whistled across the courtyard over everyone's heads. It hit it's mark, Cupid. Everything seemed in slow motion as I screamed my best friend's name and ran to her. I found my self running alongside Alister Wonderland.

"Dexter?" She asked as I reached her side. It looked bad, but not too bad. 

"Yeah I'm here, and someone else. He wants to talk to you."

Alister knelt down. "Umm hey Cupid."

She laughed.

"Umm I'm just going to do this, in case either of us don't make it."

He bent down and kissed her, and to my surprise, she kissed back! I signeled for Hunter to come and take her to the infirmary.

"Umm Ali?' he asked.

Alister looked up, surprised. "Oh, ok. I'll help actually."

Alister and Hunter carried Cupid off. I was glad she found love, even if it wasn't her first choice it was someone who respected and loved her more than I ever could. She deserved someone like him.
