Chapter 3 (Dex)

(Author: Most will be Dexter POV)
"Could you girls repeat that please?" Headmaster Grimm asked.
"We were window shopping and just walking around when we heard someone calling for help in the woods out of town so we followed the sound and went there. It turns out there was no one there but then these people came in and grabbed Raven. I tried to fight them off but they threw me to the side where I hit my head on a tree."Cerise said.
"I tried to fight them off too with Apples help. But there was nothing we could do." Maddie nearly cried.
"All seems to be in order then." said Headmaster Grimm.
"What!" Me Apple Cerise and Maddie shout together.
"Raven has dangerous ideas. She needs to be kept far away where her ideas won't spread. We've put her in Mirror Prison. You may each talk to her as much as you want, but you can never tell anyone. We'll put a different person in to take Raven's place. No one but you will know and if you tell I'll be the first to hear." He finished.
I was fuming with anger. You can't just replace someone, and it made me madder that they replaced Raven of all people. Headmaster Grimm dismissed us and I ran up to my dorm. Hunter was out so I was all alone with the new mirror that was just delivered. I walked up to it.
"Show me Raven Queen."
The glass on the mirror rippled. And there she was.
She was crying. And mumbling something.
"Raven!" I shouted, trying to get her attention.
She didn't look up. She couldn't hear me. I could hear her though. I leaned in.
"So this is how my mother felt all those years. Oh they probably won't let me talk to my friends at all! Maddie, Cerise, Apple, Dexter.." She sobbed. "Dammit, Dexter! He won't even know what happened, Headmaster Grimm will stop Maddie Cerise and Apple from telling." She kept crying.
I put my hands on the mirror. Tears streamed down my face.
"If only I had told him that I-"
"Dexter are you in there? I left my keys somewhere and can't get in!" Hunter shouted outside the door.
The mirror rippled and showed me my reflection. I quickly wiped the tears off my face.
"Hunter you forgot your keys again!" I said.
I opened the door and he gave me a half smile.
"Did you hear the update on the ball? Apple said on Blondes mirror cast that there will be a huge chocolate fountain!" He said.
"Wow! That sounds awesome!" I said, but in truth, the ball was the last thing I wanted to think about.
I put my hand in my pocket and rubbed the heart shaped locket I was planning on giving Raven when I asked her to go with me. Tears pricked my eyes.

Raven wiped the tears off her face and turned to look around her prison cell once more. It was cramped, and also very cold. Raven shuddered. Suddenly a thought struck her. How am
I going to eat? This question raised many others and Raven started to panic. There was literally no escape. No way out. She was trapped there, forever. Screaming she threw herself at the wall and hit it with her fist. It expanded, but just the slightest bit. Then came the pain. Raven fell on the ground screaming as a feeling like she was being burned alive enveloped her.
