(A/N) Okay, so I was lying when I said that the book was finished. Yeah, that would have been an awkward ending. It didn't even get to the point, so here. This is the final chapter. It's a long one! Enjoy!

Jasmine POV

Three days had gone by since the... whatever you wanted to call it. The encounter. Yeah! That sounds good, right? (A/N hehe lol. I just had to do that. Anyway, back to the story.) It was the morning back at school, and I woke up bright and early. I didn't feel the pain I had felt for the last who knows how long (A/N I honestly don't know myself), but instead, a hope that everything could finally go to the way it was supposed to be.

The walk to school was refreshing, and I was able to enjoy its beauty for the first time in a long while instead of being disturbed and distracted. Lily met me on the staircase leading into the school, and I greeted her with a cheerful hello. She looked at me with shock, surprised at how cheery I was. I hadn't seen her in forever, and I had changed quite a bit since the last time she saw me, a couple weeks back when my world became messed up.

Well, not really messed up. At least, that's what I think. In fact, even though it was a near death experience - seriously, I was still beating myself up about my stupidity - it was probably the best thing that had ever happened to me. Even through the fog and despair in my life, I came out stronger than I would ever have been, and I found a love that would never die.

Elias POV

I walked up to Matt, my best friend that I haven't seen or talked to in a long time. We said our hellos, though Matt seemed a little confused at my joyous attitude. I shook my head at him, gesturing that he would find out soon enough, before heading up the steps and into the classroom.

Jasmine was sitting in her chair behind me with Lily, and I quickly went up to greet them. Whispering in Lily's ear, I asked if I could sit with Jasmine today, and she nodded her head instantly. She was blushing, and I knew she wanted to sit with Matt; her crush on him was so obvious, and he liked her just as much. They were perfect for each other.

Snapping back to reality, I saw Jasmine just stare at me, confused as to why I hadn't sat down yet. I realized that Lily had already left, leaving the seat empty, and I scratched the back of my neck in embarrassment before sitting down. I put my arm around Jasmine and whispered in her ear.

Jasmine POV

I felt a blush creep up my neck as Elias put his arm around me, and I knew I was getting redder as he whispered in my ear.

"Meet me after school today?" I nodded in response. I felt him kiss my cheek quickly before pulling away just as the teacher walked in. I wasn't focussing in class today, and I knew Elias wasn't either. We were too excited for the after school meeting.

----------------------------

I sat on the bench outside of the school waiting for him. Where was he? He couldn't have ditched me. He wouldn't. I was starting to get worried, and wondered if I should just leave, but then I heard footsteps and I turned my head to see Elias.

"Sorry I'm late, I got held up by Matt. Relationship problems, or something." I chuckled when I heard the last part. It probably had something to do with Lily. They both were head over heels with each other, but they were too oblivious to see.

I shook my head in amusement before suddenly turning serious. I knew that he was the one who asked me to meet him, probably to ask me something, but I had something I needed to ask him first.

"Tell me the truth. Do you love me?"

Elias POV

"Tell me the truth. Do you love me?" The question took me by surprise, but I answered straight away.

"With all my heart." I heard her sigh in relief, then felt her pulling me to her, but I stopped her before she could. I asked her the exact same question.

"Tell me the truth. Do you love me?" I knew the answer already, and she looked at me like it was the silliest question on the planet.

"Of course!" I stared deep into her eyes before asking her the question that scared me the most. I shouldn't be scared, I knew what the answer would be, but it still took all my courage.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

Jasmine POV

He just stared at me, eyes full of passion and love, and I knew I looked at him the same way. I was beaming with happiness that he had finally asked me, and I practically leaped into his arms, and it took all the willpower I had not to kiss his pretty face.

"YES!" He pulled me to him, crashing his lips into mine and causing this most wonderful feeling to overtake me. The kiss heated up quickly, as I ran my fingers through his hair and he held me at the small of my back. We pulled away when we needed to, gasping for air as we leaned our foreheads against each other's.

"I love you," I spoke up, just to be hushed by his finger against my lips. He spoke to me in a whisper, turning my head to the side as he did so.

"We're not alone..."

I looked at where he was pointing, just to see Lily and Matt staring at us with shock. They had no idea what they were seeing.

"I guess we have some explaining to do," I looked back at Elias. He smirked and gave me a quick peck on the lips before heading towards our stunned friends and leaving me to catch up.
