College

Just a little one shot of Henry going off to college and Emma missing him.

Emma, Regina, Killian, and the Charmings were all standing outside Emma and Killians house helping Henry load his car.

"Hey mom, im all packed up. Im gonna head out soon so I get there before dark." Henry told Emma coming into the kitchen where she was making lunch.

"Ok. Are you sure you don't want me and Killian to drive you? Or come spend the first week with you?"

"Mom I'm fine. Its only a eight hour drive to Boston. I'll be good."

"Ok.... As long as you promise to face time us as soon as you get there so I know your safe."

"Ok mom. I will."

The two walked out to his car where the rest of their family was waiting. Henry said his goodbyes to everyone and finally made his way over to Emma and Killian. He went to Killian first.

"Bye Killian. Take care of my mom."

"Of course. Be careful lad."

"I will." He said giving Killian a hug.

He walked over to Emma who was trying not to cry.

"Bye mom. I love you."

"Bye kid. I love you too. Promise you'll be super safe and call us when you get there. "

"Yes mom. I promise. I gotta go though. I will come visit before you know it." He said hugging her.

Emma placed a quick kiss on his head and let go of him reluctantly.

He got into the car and waved goodbye to everyone one last time before driving away.

Emma walked over to Killian who held her in his warm embrace as she she's a single tear watching her son drive off.

After a few conversations everyone left leaving Emma and Killian alone in thier home.

Killian was eating lunch with Emma when she excused herself.

She walked upstairs and into Henry's room.

She sat down on the bed and looked around at the geeky posters and multiple pictures of their large family.

That's when she lost it. Without hesitation she burst into tears and hugged her knees to her chest.

Lucky for Emma, Killian intended to fulfill his promise to take care of her. After hearing her muffled cries he knew exactly where she would be.

He made his way into Henrys room and brought Emma into a hug. She sobbed into his shoulder as he whispered soothing words to her.

"He'll be back before you know it Swan."

"I know but I just can't believe he's all grown up."

"Believe me Swan, he still will need you as he gets older. We both grew up without having any parents around. Henry is lucky enough to have at least five close family members that would do anything for him. He won't just forget about you because he's leaving for college. Plus he's not that far away."

Emma smiled at Killian.

"How do you always know exactly what to say?"

"Well love, your an open book."

She giggled. And they both went downstairs to eat the rest of their lunch.

A/N so that was really short and kinda crappy but my emotions are still confused after last night so I figured we could all use some fluff.

Try not to enjoy the super quick updates too much bc I don't think they will continue bc I am about to go on my 8th grade feild trip and then when I get back im going straight on another vacation🙄

But I will try to update again this week. Honestly I will probably update again tonight or tomorrow so be on the lookout for it!😁
